luckily i have had no swelling in the pregnancy. well i had one day when it was hot and my feet became quite swollen! but the next day i was fine and have not worn socks since as my feet are too hot!

Just keep reading on here about people being back to their pre-pregnancy weight and am a little jealous Feels like it's never going to happen!

it can take months to get back to your pre-pregnancy size, and on a bad note not everyone does.

b4 i had my eldest i was a size 8-10 and had muscles in places blokes dream of and went to the gym 4times a week. i went upto a size 16 due to water retention and pre-eclampsia. after having him i was a size 12! due to my back problem i had to stop going to the gym and put on weight. when i had my middle son i was a 12-14 (more 14 end) and went upto an 18. after having him i went down to a 16. this is what i started off as with blake went upto a 20 (purely for comfort not cos that big - was an 18). i'm now back in my size 16's.

1 of my mates was a size 8 b4 pregnancy, went to a 12 during pregnancy and was walking aroud in her size 8 skinny fit jeans 3days after giving birth! it made me so sick!

I'm very happy to announce the arrival of baby Amber Isabelle Peacock born at 7.30am, weighing 8lb 3oz, at home on my bed. It certainly wasn't meant to be that way but we are all well and settling in back at home after a blue light journey to hospital to deliver the placenta and have all the checks done. Will post my very quick birth story as soon as possible.

Hi all, Holly was weighed yesterday and she is now 10lb 7oz which is a 1lb increase in just 12 days, Im really pleased cause BF didnt start well for us, going great guns now,he he he.

At the same check the HV said she needs to be reviewed in a fortnight as her head control is poor (noted as headlag) and she wasnt smiling (not too worried about that, cause although she wasnt doing it yesterday, I think she is today)

Firegal - Finn has the same birthday as my big boy!!

As for the weight, I feel like Im a lost cause, LOL.

babies dont usully smile properly until they are 6-8weeks old, so i wouldnt worry about that.

Good morning. I don't have time to read all pages but I read last one.
Mom2pne - wow, 5 boys
I have only 3 more kg to lose. Today had to go shopping and cause weather isn't so good I had to wore my pre-pregnancy rain proof pants. And I fitted in
Went to hospital yesterday to check on her and she weighs 2000g. That is not enough but doctor was satisfied because she has gained weight and height plus reflux is smaller. So she just doesn't want to put some weight on. I won't let her be a model so early so there is no point being on diet

leaving in around an hour an a half for the hospital. why oh why does this baby not want to be born in the hospital 5 mins away and make me go to the main maternity unit 30 mins away.
hubby bless him is panicking that he'll have to go home at night and wont sleep incase he misses the call to go back in.
i've been on the ward before and its not comfortable. i really wanted to spend as much time of my early labour at home with my bath and home comforts!

just going to keep thinking by the weekend i will have my baby. xx

i wanted a home birth but ended up being held hostage at the hospital it's not fun

but at least you know that your little one will be here soon! good luck!

Afternoon Ladies!!

I was rather proud of my little boys weight gain - up to 8lb5oz but having seen all yours.. it seems tiny!! But then he went from 7lb12 down to 7lb10 so still a decent gain - and that was a week!!

I am desparately trying to do some work.. but it is really boring, and is awkward to do with a baby in your arms! Isaac is a little grumpy today, as am on Antibiotics (as C-Section wound was weeping) and on the second different course so they are making him vomit and poo more.. poor little baby but it also means all he wants is cuddles (I have managed to sneek him down for 5 mins whilst I post this!!)

Anyway... there is nothing else from me!!
