septembryos baby area (09 babies)

Hey everyone!! Looks like all our babies are putting on weight well!! Joe is so greedy we were worried about overfeeding, but the Health visitor said that it was normal so I've relaxed abit and will let him take as much as he wants :)

Kathryn - Are you working again? I was a workaholic and have so far resisted checking my e-mails since he was born.....Not sure how much longer I can hold out though lol!!! But luckily I don't get much free time with the little one, unless you count today where he has been a little angel!! Hoping it will continue....fingers crossed hey! x

hi,

not had blake weighed this week. was going tues but decided not to as he would be done today at 6week check BUT bothme and him have colds so canceled 6week check got it now on monday.

he had gone upto 8lb 7oz last week, which is quite good considering he was only 6lb 2oz at birth!

is anyone else getting sleep? he went just under 6hrs last night, so its between 6-7hrs hes going. its great apart from he wakes between 5/6am and then i get back to sleep for an hr or so and the alarm goes off to get boys up for school!!! (thats the worst bit as feels like sleep is really disturbed!)

Hi Amy! About once or twice a week Joe will sleep for about 6 hours. Last night he went from about half 10 til 4am and we couldn't believe it lol!! Then other nights he won't settle at all :( Feels great when I do get some sleep though!

Not properly working  I tend to check my emails every other day, but managed to delete the departmental evaluation and I need to hand it in, so am having to rewrite it.... it taking 4 times longer than it should though!! I'm glad he is being an angel... Isaac is grumpy and has only just settled properly!!! I am hoping that it means he's tired and sleeps well tonight!!

Oh wow, you are good! Maybe if I spent less of my free time on here I could do the same lol!! Worried about getting dragged into something work related though if I do check....

Yeah, Joe is having a good day. Had to wake him for both feeds at 12 and 4 and he's happily sitting in his rocker right now :) Had a great day with him today - I love it when I feel like this, not a exhausted wreck like I did over the weekend when he wouldn't sleep at all at night. More days like this please :)

Hi all!

Don't get me started on the weight thing... I still look 5 months pregnant cos all my weight was out front so my belly is going to take ages to go :(

I'm jealous of all you people getting sleep in the night! Finn is miles away from getting into a good routine. His only routine at the moment is having a bout of colic every night from midnight to 3am!!!! Ah well, we'll get there eventually I'm sure. For now I'm just happy he's healthy :)

i have 1 of the ab-belts that vibrate on different settigs and therefore tone your muscles (suposidly!). it says to use for no-more than 10mins a day - HaHaHa! i'm wearing it for at least half hr, when i load washing machine/dishwasher/make bottles etc.

i used it after the other 2 as well, it does seem to make a slight differene BUT not major.

Need some advice girls....Does anyone know how long babies can stay in a rocker?? We have a crib in our bedroom that he sleeps in, but sometimes when he won't settle, he likes being in his rocker in the lounge with us. I'm worried about him spending too much time in at as I know they don't support the back that well and it's not 100% flat... Any idea's?? It's either settling him in that or holding him. We try a combination of both but sometimes the rocker works best!

hey vicks how randum!! ive just made a thread in baby club asking that very question as mason aint settling the past 2 days ONLY on me or in his vibrating chair...keep an eye on it me thread and see what people say ?! xxx

That is the problem.. I do get dragged into work related stuff!! Glad that you are having good days with Joe!! It is nice when they are not screaming their little lungs off!!

Rachy - Isaac was snuffly the other day and refused to settle unless he was on my chest.. and even then he was restless. Don't know about the infacol....

This thread just gets quieter..... are we going to merge the two and move this one over? Or just carry on with the one we've got? It just seems a shame to lose all the information on the first page!!

We tried Infacol with Joe and it made him sick :( HV suggested gripe water which can be used from 1 month....A few more days and we can try that!!! Infacol did help with the wind though....

Hope everyones ok :) xxx
