Massive congrats lilhamil! so pleased you finally have him in your arms x

Hello all, have only just realised this is here :hi: wondered where everyone went, lol!!:haha:

Heyyyy
Well I wanted to read all the posts here before I made myself known...
Youre all doin super well!! Im so proud of all the septembryo mummies!!
Ladies.... we did it!!!!

Jacks now 8 weeks old and at his last weigh in (a week ago) he weighed 8lb3oz!!
Hes taking 5-6ozs every 4 hrs.
Night time routine goes somethin like this... 7pm bath, dried, dressed cuddled. 7:30pm bottle, 8pm bed.
Then he ususally sleeps til bout 2:30am, has a bottle, then another bout 6:30...
This isnt every night tho, sometimes he'll wake at 1, then 4 then 8... so hes only just adjusting :D

As for the weight... Ive lost bout half a stone since he was born, but im thinking lack of exercie and toooo much junk food is not helping!! I need some support when it comes to that...any1 wanna b weight loss buds?? lol x

Ahh well done lhamil - reckon he was having one last act of mischief and will now be a dream baba :D

Ahhh its like we are all regrouping :D
Paloma is happy on her playmat now, think the whole milk supply and demand is levelling off now the good stuff is in and has realised it doesn't need to stockpile Parton stylee...

Izzy's nightime routine is- 8pm- bath then bottle then settle for bed (usually down between 9/9.30. Feed at 12/1am, 4am, 7am- get up.
I am back to pre pregnancy weight, lost stone and a half after birth, and then gradually next half stone, but still want to lose more/tone up, but cant stop eating choc and stodge!!!!

Ive not weighed myself yet...arg!! im scared...dunno why as i only put on 6lb during pregnancy but i wanna lose at least a stone as i was a bit over before i got preg...my stomachs gone back except its a bit saggy n yucky which im sooo sad about as i had a fabby tummy before...so wanting to get some serious tonage going on...

ooo weigh loss buddies mayb we should start a group or something where we could talk about what we're doing/excercising etc?! lol i need a kick up the bum when i can start exercising its been a while now

Jacks spending his 1st night in his big boys cot tonight! After 8wks in his moses basket I think its finally time he got into his 'big bed'....hope he likes it!!

Congrats and glad you avoided having a c-sec! Did they give you an episiotomy? Thats why I was sore after delivering my oldest who was 9 pounds 12 ounces.

congrats lhamil: I'll add you to the honourary bumpkin section too, if that's ok? :)

So last night I recorded Lennox lifting his head up during tummy time. Well I pt the camera away and when I got back he was fussing and stretching and then all of a sudden.... he was on his back! He did it on an accident and had a surprised look on his face and then started crying. I think it scared him! But wouldn't you know it that when I put the camera away he'd roll over. I'm going to see if I can get it on camera today. My oldest was a month too when he did that as well! And just remember he did it without him knowing what he was doing and he may not do it again for awhile so don't worry if your child hasn't every baby is different!

oooo how exciting!! hope he enjoys his big boy bed...

eeek im scared of even thinking of mason being in another room from me...not ready for that yet...

Episiotomies are ouchness - I had forceps fun with baba numero uno ... apaprently rubber rings are good to sit on...these kids eh....

I can't believe how young my baba is compared to some of yours - only 1 week old so far!!!

I am ignoring the weight issue til at least the 6 week check, then I am going to sort of hope for the best with being sensible and walking as much as poss, then if I am muchly porky at Christmas I'll have to make more effort in the new year hehe. :D

I am also not expecting routine too much yet but I have the advantage of seeing what works with you lovelies and lifting tips thataway.

On the dry skin sitch, I asked if it was ok to put the lansinoh stuff on Paloma's paws as they were dry and the midwife seemed to think it was a plan and added that it is also ace for chapped lips....

My kids are watching Family Fortunes on challenge and marvelling at the prizes like lawnmowers and at the technology of the board :D
