Shabby Chic!

Hey Ladies, (not sure this is the right place to post) I know I'm jumping on the bandwagon but I LOVE the shabby chic look. I'm talking home interiors; frills, rustic, antique white, butterflies, luxury soft furnishings, pastel colours, french furniture etc.

Now I would love to take elements of this and revamp my living room but would like some inspiration!! Anyone got any pics of their own homes to share?

My first project is to turn my boring black spindle lamp that looks something like this into the one next to it using spray paint and burlap. Has anyone else taken on similar projects?? Please share

Id take a look on folksy, lots of handmade items, like the british version of etsy. I dont personally favour shabby chic interior but i am sure i saw some bits on there

My mums whole house is like shabby chic heaven. She goes to dumps and finds old pretty pieces of furniture and then paints them stone grey.
