I had the most stressful cycle ever and got preg, so rly shes talking out of her ass and should know better. I do think its worse ttc your first than 2nd or third, I know its not easy still, but at least you feel like your life has started rather than coasting waiting for kids.

I definitely pledge! I hear this all the time. My SIL who has PCOS, struggled a bit to pg and has a sister who struggled a lot said this to me. Then she told me my sister go pg right after getting a cat, and so did we, maybe you need to get a cat. Whhaaaat! I was astounded, I sarcastically said "Oh sure, duh, I'll get a cat and stop spending thousands at the FS, why hadn't I thought of that". Then my cousin who got "knocked up" at 18 and again at 20 told me the whole "just stop trying and it'll happen" My response was "if that were the case I'd have 3 or 4 kids by now form that whole 4 years we were not trying! Soooo Frustrating!
