I'm planning a trip to ikea soon, just me and Isobel. Does anyone know if they have trolleys that you can put a car seat on? Or should I just take the sling?

And has anyone got the staff to help them with carrying stuff to till and car? I know its self service but if I've got her in a sling I've no chance (but if I've got her car seat in a trolley with space underneath for furniture then I'll manage myself).

I'm not getting lots, just hoping to get a cheap small table for the garden and some bits from the kitchen/storage area.

We have put the car seat in a trolley before as we only needed a few bits but now we just pop her in the pushchair. We couldnt find a special car seat trolley. But they maybe just our local store that is like this.

I dont think there were car seat trolleys. I would take her in a sling, and ask for help. I doubt they would say no even if they aren't meant to.

They don't have car seat trolleys :-( but you could put her in the car seat in the trolley, I know u r not suppose to but ....

Also if you can find someone that works there I'm sure they'd help you carry the stuff I would recommend a buggy and a trolley I tried that in tesco NEVER AGAIN?!!

Although if your only getting small stuff could u use an ikea bag and push the buggy??

No, but I'd just put the carseat in a regular trolley. Ikea are one of the most family friendly shops/restaurants ever btw.

No theyd dont have carseat trolleys but i just pop alfie in his carseat in the trolley

If your LO can sit in a seat, I'd put her in the seat, but if she's still tiny, I'd take a sling. It's easy enough to push a big trolley with a sling on and staff will help you get things down from the warehouse. When I go now, I have to put Imogen in the trolley seat and wear Teddy and I still manage.

yeah, definitely if she's too small for a toddler seat in the trolley then wear your sling, theres always employees hanging around in various places, just grab one and ask for help, usually theres help for disabled customers so i dont see why a mother with a young baby should be any different... you should get rushed to the front of the queue too if u have an employee helping you :P
