I'm thinking its AF. My temp is dropping and the one app that has always pulled through for me and been spot on with my cycles is saying I'm due tomorrow And my cycles always start out really light the first 4-5 days (Which makes things really hard). FF has me due June 29th, Ovia has me due the 24th, and Period Tracker (the one I have been using for years) has me due tomorrow. I was the same exact way with the bleeding last month

I looked at my FF chart from last month (given I didn't start the FF charting till CD 16, so a little over half way) And this is what I see:

According to FF App

April 27th CD 1

April 27th-May 19th (CD 20) The Follicular Phase (Didn't start FF till May 12 (CD 16))

May 20th-25th (CD 24-29) Luteal Phase -Did have "Spotting" like bleeding May 23rd-25th (CD 27-29 4-6 DPO)

May 26th CD 1

May 26th-June14 (CD20) The Follicular Phase

June 15th-21st (CD 21-27 1-7 DPO) Luteal Phase (having/had spotting)

Spotting is looking like the beginning of AF, and if so I have really short Luteal Phases.

Safe to say I need to throw in the towel and be looking at a BFN. Right now I'm so discouraged that Ill just pass taking any tests.

I'm sorry to hear AF is coming...is your spotting brown or red? I would mark spotting (not light) until you have full red flow that needs a pad or tampon. Maybe next month see about getting your 7 dpo progesterone levels checked?

Firstly big :hugs: Spotting doesn't count as cd1 sweetheart. Cd1 it the first day of full flow. Although you may spot for a few days before she arrives and that gives you a heads up, your cycle isn't counted as over until you experience full flow bleeding.

Have you recently come of birth control? I just ask because this can make your cycles funky and for quite a while in some people, so if that's the case, it will settle down eventually.
Now, as for the short LP, I have this. Short lp's are caused by low progesterone. Having low progesterone can also cause spotting in the luteal phase. Endometriosis can also cause pre AF spotting. I suggest going in and seeing your GP and asking to be checked for endometriosis as well as getting a pathology form to have a 7 DPO (progesterone testing, also known as 21 day bloods) blood draw. Ask for the path form to not have a set date so you can just walk in, as I've seen from some of your other posts, O is a little erratic for you.
Once you have these results, you will be able to be assessed on what avenues you can take to fix the problem xx
Lots of love to you ❤️❤️

Thanks for showing some love and support :hugs: my O (according to FF) was on CD 23 in May, and CD 20 this month (don't know if having a 3 day difference is a good or bad thing. I have had quite a few doctors tell me that they think of have Endometriosis, but the problem is that NO ONE wants to test me. They really don't do the scope surgery for Endometriosis anymore. I have talked to doctors about it and they brush it under the table and move onto something else. It's so frustrating.

I also have PCOS, that was been ruled out. Early last year was the last time my levels were checked (estrogen, testosterone) And those were actually really good. The year before that my Testosterone level was really high. Something tells me I might be back at that state again. I wrote to my doctor and she's out of the office till the 30th. I asked her about getting my progesterone level checked because I just realized my LS is really short. So I won't be hearing form her for a while. The doctor I see I only see once a year (unless something is wrong) but you don't pay much attention to this things when you're not in a relationship, especially a very committed one. This is where I'm slapping myslef in the face. She is a OB/GYN/fertility specialist, and she is the sweetest thing.

She put in a lab order for me to get blood work done 3-4 days after my start of AF. She ordered that because I asked her about being placed on Metformin. Not sure if Metformin will help me with an LP issue though.

I went back on my FF and changed it to spotting for these last 2 days but I'm 99.99% sure it's AF spotting

I just looked up what your progesterone level should be (at minimum) normal Progesterone level should be at 8 ng/mL and should be tested on day 21 (if a 28 day cycle. Day 28 if 35 day cycle) Now, this is interesting (and wayyyyyy outdated and not sure if I did the testing in the right time frame then) but, I looked up my Progesterone level from over 5 years ago and I saw it was down to 1.09 ng/mL. So I will definitely be waiting for my doctor to write me back and see what she has to say. I was reading up more on low progesterone and it sounds so much like me, there were a few things that weren't quite me, but the other are very strong indicators that that's what the problem is.

Oh and I forgot (Sorry I'm scattered brained right now) I haven't been on BC in almost 2 years I believe. The last birth control I took wasn't quite birth control, it was a shot that put my a temp/false menopause to try and help my PCOS. Had 3 shots and I stopped because it made me severely depressed to the point I wanted to harm myself (long story short) and I cant take BC because I am just way too sensitive to it.
