Should I start progesterone?

Hi All!

I got the HCG shot on Monday and I just got my BBT spike up (please see chart below)

My doctor said I could start progesterone today.
I have a serious progesterone deficiency.
but I am worried progesterone will give me false jump in temps.

Should I wait and make sure I O'd or just start it today.
Problem is last time it looked like I o'd I only have a 3 day lp.

I hear that the HCG shot is almost a sure thing but I have never ovulated before so I am scared.

Please give me some reassurance that I DID OVULATE.

Based on your chart it's very hard to say you ovulated. FF will give you crosshairs when 2 things happen 1. Positive OPK followed by a negative OPK (or no more OPK entries after a positive OPK) 2. You have a dip in temps followed by 3 consecutive higher temps

So it may be a couple of days before you know if you ovulated. I started my progesterone supplements on CD17 (about 2 days after ovulation). My temps were high but not erratic. Got my BFP on 8dpo

Did you start you progesterone yet? When I take provera my temps do rise slightly but not to much.

I have never ovulated before!

I am starting progesterone today.
I really wanted to make sure that my temp were high and not just a blanket or something like that.

I think it looks like I really did ovulate.
What do you think?

Also, Progesterone won't make my period start right?
It will help my LP?

You won't get AF until after you have stopped Provera for a couple of days...

I almost don't believe I ovulated!

I think I need to wait 14dpo so that the trigger shot is out of my system.
Of course I am not so I am "testing out" the shot.

I am hoping I will know by this weekend or Monday.

I am really scared though. I want to have a baby more than anything in the whole world. My husband and I are so ready for a family. After all the US and appointments and drugs this is the first time I ovulated.
It's a step in the right direction.

I am doing well, thanks! We have decided to try again and not to wait. With my long cycles I really don't want to waste a shot at an egg. My doctor will not refer me to a fertility specialist for another 6 months. I had one for my last 2 pregnancies but we are in a new province now so I no longer have access to that doctor. I'm going to give soy ISO a shot and see if it helps....hoping for the best

Your chart is looking lovely! When you do decide to test maybe a couple if FRERs 2 days apart would at least show progression if they are positive? If you catch the egg the line wouldn't get darker if it's residual trigger shot ...I dunno just excited for you

Boo! Came check your chart and I see AF arrived. That sucks! On a positive note though, you O'd! Yay for that!

What's your plan this cycle? Some thing? Cycle #2 on femara was my lucky cycle

I plan on the same thing.
femara-hopefully grow folly-and trigger shot.

Its hard to go though all the US and appointments/medication. I hope that this happens for us!

I'm good. I think I'm 2dpo. Should get crosshairs on my chart tomorrow. We only bd'd once in my fertile time....but it only takes one sperm so I guess we've got a shot
