Should I stay or should I go!!

Hi Ladies

We are waiting impatiently for our IVF cycle to start!!! Expecting to be in June/July.

In the meantime we are thinking of having a well deserved holiday - DH wants to go to Caribbean but my concern is the recommended holiday vaccinations.

Do I really want to be putting those drugs into my body?? Also the vaccinations are only recommendations but do I really want to risk going to third world country without them?? I would love a holiday and am quite happy to go to Canaries to be honest.

Any thoughts would be apprecated

Personally I wouldn't want to be having the vaccinations so close to the IVF. I think these things stay in your system for a while and I personally wouldn't want to riak it, but then again...the caribbean.....would be tempting, lol.

Why not go somewhere luxurious in Europe? somewhere beautiful in Italy for example - so it feels a bit more special like a caribbean holiday would, rather than feeling like a cheapy....
