Should I try a different test? Faint

I’ve been trying for 8 months and my period is 3 days late for first time. I checked the test at the right time. But can I trust the blue dye? Been reading that it’s unreliable. Thanks for your help!

Too much colour and darkness I’d say even for blue dye

Holy crap, thanks all!! I double checked with a digital. I didn’t think they showed up so faint. I’m embarrassed to say a took one 4 days ago and it was even fainter and I had a glass of whiskey to console myself. Haha oops. I’ve made an appointment for next week . Good luck all!

Congratulations and don't worry about the glass of whisky. Baby won't even get anything from your blood supply until I believe about 6 weeks! I drank right before I got my BFP with #2 and asked the doctor about this.
