My dress was nothing like all the ones I loved online (i wanted a slim fitting possibly fishtail dress, maybe lace). I tried on loads but in the end opted for one that was the total opposite of what i'd envisioned! This was mine -

Too hard to decide. I love elegant lace but also live fish tails. There's soo many gorgeous dresses on Pinterest. It's probably a good job my oh seems to have no interest in getting married as I would never be able to choose lol

I really want to try it on but I have to pay £35 (they don't stock that style so have to pay for the sample to be sent in) to try it on here or find a stockist further out.

Although I'd rather it be a higher cut (don't want my bellybutton on show) - otherwise it's PERFECTION. In real life, I'd probably go for something a lot simpler. Not a fan of diamante but love beads, thick lace and would prefer a light, antique gold colour instead of white. All I know for sure is that I'd want an incredible veil.

Oh god, that first dress on your last post is from the recent collection.. gorgeous dresses but I had to cover that show with a 'new angle' and all his bloody collections have the exact same theme! Came up with some crap about trees.. Was glad when that review was done. It is beautiful though. Stunning bridesmaid dress, though the belt looks out of place to me?!

Hahaha trees? Sounds like you got creative with it at least, I wouldn't know where to start. It's just...pretty and I don't know why damnit I love the dress you're having for your wedding, it's absolutely stunning!

I guess it's hard to stick to your signature style with couture (if you're a glamorous dress sort of couture designer, you know, as opposed to Galliano etc) and do something different every year. I know, was clutching at straws, there was nothing to say! He had a branch sort of thing on some dresses so I just sort of went with it!

Oh yeah, I saw the branches actually (I know what you mean now). I loved Kate Moss's Galliano dress but I can't help but think it would look kinda plain on someone who wasn't Kate Moss. The veil was absolutely beautiful though.

I guess it depends on the sort of wedding. It was perfect for hers, but then she didn't need an overly glamorous wedding dress, cos she gets to dress up constantly. I think for everyone else it's your one day to really go OTT! I know, love Juliette veils, shame my dress doesn't suit one!
