Back to rear-facing for my toddler! I've done so much research while looking for a new car seat for the baby and have decided I want both children to rear-face for as long as possible as I feel it is safest.
I am so chuffed with this chair. It's really sturdy and well made, looks lovely, goes all the way from birth to 12 years, and has the option of rear-facing until the child is 18 kg (around 4 years old). What's more, it was reduced online to £180 and then I found a coupon code that took it right down to £160!
Bought another today for the newbie as I found a website that has suddenly started selling it for an even lower £150! Such a bargain.
(Looks uncomfortable I know, but she seems to prefer sitting like this rather than with her legs crossed in front ... she loves her new chair.)
From birth to 12? Sounds fantastic. (My kiddiewinkle, at nearly 4.5, is nowhere near 18 kilo. I daren't look at average weights to see how far behind she is.)

It really seems too good to be true lol, but I've yet to find a catch with it.
I don't think mine will be 18 kg at 4 either - she's tall and lanky but has no real weight on her, despite eating like a horse! No idea where she gets those awesome genes from - definitely not from me.
It's cool because it means she can use her seat rearward for longer.
Leo set up the recycle bins as boats and invited Violet to join him:
Leo has been enjoying his babies lately and likes saying how many there are. He has recently learned the concept of "three." Here's a couple pictures of him taking the dolls for a walk yesterday. Today, he was into playing with them in the ball tent:
