My big girls ^_^ i barely have any recent photos of Ella without her patch as she wears it all day before and after school, bless her

I'm not sure I ever did say on here actually. She has amblyopia (lazy eye). Her left eye is extremely nearsighted and has a strong astigmatism, so she only uses one eye as her brain learned to 'ignore' the poor image that was coming from her left eye (right eye has a slight farsighted prescription but nothing huge)The patch is to try and 'turn on' her left eye and get it seeing as well as possible... As even with her glasses on, she can't see very well at all with her right eye covered. (Only the top line on the chart.)
She has no 3d vision/depth perception because her eyes dont work together.

The kids and I are sick . Rather than celebrating at my parents on Christmas Eve and in-laws on Christmas day, we did Christmas Eve at home and will be traveling on the late side for Christmas with the grandparents. Here are pictures for this morning:
