Signs of 4 month growth spurt/nightmare?

Major fussy feeding here!!

I found a solution for fussy feeding here, rather than feeding every 3ish hours I've stretched it out to 3 1/2 hours today. I think at 3 hours he was just starting to get hungry but not enough to want his bottle without fuss, at 3 1/2 hours he took it with no trouble

We had a 2 1/2 hour nap this afternoon and went to bed at 8 with no fuss, fingers crossed he's down for a few hours!

floofymad - I feel for you I really do. It's soooo frustrating when they do that!

I've just got LO down for the night. Bathed at 7pm, we've been in the bedroom BFing since 7:20ish. It took around an hour tonight as it has previous nights this past week. But not too bad really.

She was sick and woke herself up.
Had to resettle twice but it only took 15 minutes.

Well last night turned out to be crap.

I resettled her and she was asleep at about 8.30. Woke up at 11ish for a feed but wouldn't settle for nearly 2 hours, no matter what I did.
She was then sick everywhere.
Finally went to sleep but woke up every 2-3 hours. I tried to feed her (as usual) but she was SERIOUSLY not interested! She just refused it everytime! So I had to bounce her back to sleep.

So tired!

Edit - Just managed to push a 2 hour nap

My LO has been taking much less of her milk too, only 3oz every feed, she usually takes 5-6oz. Had another rough night with her, put her down at 8 with no problems but was up at 11, 2, 4 and 5, eventually settled when i put her in bed with me! So onto night 5 we go!

I really hope this isn't the 4 month sleep regression but just me thinking it is and over analysing her sleep!

I know what you mean hun, i hope it isnt too but in some ways i feel if it is then we must be half way through it or it mist be coming too an end soon then its done! I went back too basics today with her feeding/nap routine, how it was when she was younger, feed every 3 hours on the dot and nap (with any luck) half hour later. Its worked okay upto nw, i have become very laid back and was feeding/napping when she wanted too so will see if it makes a dufference. Just had her bath, bottlebed routine and she has gone too sleep with no fuss. Will see what the evening has instore for us tonight then.

Lets hope we get some sleep xx

I also think apart from the sleep regression that my LO is teething, so maybe that is accounting for her not taking her bOttle aswell at the minute, ohhh i wish they could just tell us whats up so we knew how too help them!

Yeah Dh and I think teething has something to do with the fussy feeding too. Keeps rolling the teat around in her mouth and pushing it out x

I've just spent the last hour putting Quinn back to sleep.
She slept 6.30pm - 7 and then needed resettling. I put her down and she lasted 10 minutes.... I've done that about 5 times now.

fingers crossed she's asleep now...until her feed in about half an hour

Well that lasted all of 55 minutes! Awake and crying already! What on earth is this all about? Im soooo exhausted and my bloody DH does naff all too help me, never has and never will, He is so bloody annoying! Soory girls, rant over x

Oh dear sweet jesus, if tomorrow is anything like today I think I'll have to run away and join the circus. LO woke up at 8.30am this morning and napped for a total of maybe 20 minutes ALL day. It's like she's had 4 Red Bulls - eyes like saucers, trying to take everything in, constantly moving (like a shark, never stopping...), babbling all day, she's been on 11 ('these go to eleven') since she woke up. Tried it all - baby massage, dark room, white noise, this kid ain't for sleeping. We just got her down with a full bottle of warm milk and she's been asleep for 15 minutes, which is like FOREVER.

Do you know that I was once a mum of two boys who, after their midnight dreamfeed, slept till 4:30am and that I then was hoping they'd just sleep a liiiiiiiittle bit longer? How ungrateful, serves me right that they now wake every hour

Well i fed Poppy somemore milk as she was hungry, i think?, anyway she took 2oz after screaming holy heck and is back asleep, has been for an hour now so will see how long she lasts

Im never ever goin too tell anyone shes a good sleeper again when they ask how she sleeps (as every bugger does, nosey gits! Lol) as everytime i seem too say it it all goes boobs up and she stops sleeping !
