I want to take my kids abroad next year, I'm in a position where I am able to and well I want to book now in advance.

Does anybody have any ideas where I can take them?

My wish list is a little like this

- no more than £3000 for the 3 of us
- I will have a 5 and a 12 year old so needs to be suitable for both
- will be during school holidays so I know prices rocket
- outside of Europe (I want long haul really)
- kids clubs if possible

I know you said long haul but we go to a place in Turkey, its just outside of Olu Deniz and its AMAZING. Its now called Liberty Lykia (was Lykia World). It is expensive but it has everything you could ever want on site.

There is a tiny part of the resort that is adults only but mostly everyone can use everything xx

I love these....

2 weeks in Orlando, Florida with 7-day park pass worked out to be just over £3,000 for me, OH, DD1 and DD2 in October term-time where as Disneyland Paris was £2,800 for a 'long' weekend.

Im with PP, 2 weeks in orlando would be do-able on your budget or there abouts if you shop around :) I went last year and have booked again for this year, the parks are good for kids of all ages as theres something for everyone. We got really reasonable flights with thomas cook, and hired a villa and a car for the 2 weeks.
