Sleepy baby - more than usual!

Hamish has been really sleepy the last day or two... he is still feeding every few hours (day and night) and when he is awake he is alert and not overly cranky or drowsy so I don't think he is ill or anything, but he is sleeping a lot more between feeds during the day than he usually does. He is pretty much only awake long enough to be fed then nods off again!

Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be side effect of a growth spurt? He isn't really feeding any more than normal, but I can't think what else it could be...

It could definately be a growth spurt. It takes a lot of energy to grow!! As long as LO is keeping up with feeds and is content while awake, I would say you're fine.

Yes, I'd say as long as he's feeding ok, doing the right amount of wees and poos and alert and happy when awake - should be fine

If it carries on for some time, maybe worth a call to doc or HV...but sounds normal enough!
