SMP Rate

As there is a new rate of SMP of £123.... does everyones go up from £117 to this?

I started my mat leave 23rd Dec

yes from 6th april

as it was midweek i got one payment in between 117-123 then onto 123

On the news yesterday there was mention of further changes to SMP and Maternity Leave duration... something to do with the European election?

I was only half listening... does anybody know more?
Will it be relevant to us mums-to-be, or only for future ones?
