Smudged test?! Anyone else had this?

Hi Ladies,

I have been trying for six months to get pregnant to no avail, however this morning I decided to test. I am (I think) 11 dpo. I used an Asda cheapie test and I got smudging! I used another test after and it was negative but I am aware this is not unusual. I know I will probably have to wait and retest but i was just wondering if any of you ladies on here think about it. Your input will be greatly received.

Was the test maybe still wet when you took the pic? has it dried out now? if not maybe it's a dodgy test. Good luck x

Yes. It didnt show right away but did show within the 5 minutes. It has now long since dried and still the same ......

Here is a better picture if it. I now have a more sensitive test to do tomorrow morning. I have been trying not to think about this all day as I don't want to become a POAS addict 😖
Also what is this tweaking about?

I had the same thing happen to me with a clear blue. I called there hotline and got 3 brand new clear blue tests for free!!

So..... Was it a positive for you or just a faulty test? (Really wanting you to say positive )

Looks invalid I would retest.

Looks like a dye run
