So confused. Please help!

My last period was September 1st and I was due to start by October 1st. My SO and I had sex on the 26th and 27th. I’ve had cramping like I’m going to start, but then I don’t. My boobs really hurt, which never happens.
I did have oral surgery last month on the 7th and for the last 2 months have been trying to find a medication that will help my anxiety attacks. So, I wonder if I might just be really late due to stress... But if I am pregnant, since it was so close to when I was supposed to get my period, when can I look for a good time to test?

I tested a couple days ago but it said negative. We haven’t had sex for like 3 months so I know if I am pregnant it would only be from the 26/27th and probably too soon to tell. I got a really faint line at 5 weeks with my last pregnancy...

Well it is possible you ovulated late.. And even then you may have BD in your fertile window but no hcg can be detected. Always wait 7 days BTW tests.. Less costly and will tell you the truth.
