Awww congrats kitty! :)

There are 17 months between mine, we have used the double a lot! I guess it depends o where you live, public transport ect. Where we live is really rural so you either drive or walk long distances. Flo is not the type of baby that enjoys being worn, so the double has been a godsend to us! :)

We out Reg into a bed at about 20 months (we needed the cot for Florence) and we found he slept better!? He's not always been the best of sleepers though - I could Start a whole new thread on that one ;)

We had issues with BF (again) Flo failed to thrive a couple of times
With just my BM so I was told to top her feeds up. As you can imagine having a baby BF for half hour then having to top them up for half hour - then them wanting feeding again an hour after that!!!!! I stopped topping up after feeds about a month ago and I have so much more time. If you have a straightforward BFing experience I'd say you'd be foolish to not do it!! We still do 3 BFs - bedtime, night feed and morning :)

The things I love are that they are like two little buddies and my heart melts when he kisses her and cuddles her or they make each other giggle!

The things I don't love are the lack of sleep, occasional jealousy from Reg and also constant feelings of guilt that your not giving the other enough attention. (one of the main reasons we won't be having any more)

Any more Qs - ask away x

Thanks guys. Really appreciate the advice and support. xxx

Awww you guys. How sweet and kind and geniune you both are.

Well, above speaks for itself.

Back on topic, what are some good tandems to look at that can be:

Used as a single
Mixed with seats (pram with buggy seat/car seat with buggy seat/buggy seat ith bugget seat)
Maybe a 3 wheeler (I have a 3 wheeler addiction)

No limit on budget.

Thanks all xxx

Whenever I'm at playgroup I see loads of people with the iCandy double!
Congratulations by the way, you brave lady!

I've got the Phil and teds vibe...and love, love, love it. We did consider the candy, but the toddler seat was small, and Lizzie is not tall, either. Donkey wasn't a good investment for us, as L does enjoy walking, too. Vibe is three wheeled ;)

I'm in quite a difficult position here as Kelly we are friends. But Jemma is also a good friend of mine. You didn't appreciate people being bitchy and nasty to your friends hence the reason for this sarcastic and pathetic contribution to Jemma's questions. I also don't like it when people are unnecessarily rude and nasty to my friends, which is made harder by the fact that another friend is doing it. Now I am not going to lower myself but I will ask please that you and Michelle stop with the childish insults. It is not nice for Jemma and as it involves my friends on both sides it is not nice for me to see either.

Goes to show how oblivious i am, i thought everyone was just beig really nice! :haha:

I wouldn't pay attention to the 'special' people being patronising in here Kitty, it's quite sad really as to be in here they probably have children themselves, what fantastic examples they are setting their kids as adults

Anyway, back to your question... Have you looked at the Bugaboo donkey? I've heard good things about it! I do love my twin iCandy peach, but at the same time it feels like they just quickly made into a double to appeal to those who need them without much thought of a lot of factors. It's hard to get the back baby out, the back is quite small, the shopping basket becomes very hard to get to with the 2 seats on, it takes quite a while to out together and take apart with all the adaptors and stuff. The out n about 360 doesn't have attachments and is a tandem, but is a great buggy, I bought this one too, maybe have a look at it? Xx

We have the icandy peach, love it :) x

you don't know the half of it sophie! but yes very right so pathetic i know! just cant help myself sometimes i guess i'm a mug :)

Yep me too. :dohh: kitty, if budget isn't an issue when it comes to your pram then I'd go for the donkey. As much as I'm not a lover of bugaboos, I had a play with one and I love how they can both face you. I would defo recommend the BJCS though but you can't have the both facing you so near. However, there are loads of different positions so you can really play about with it, plus it's maxi cosi compatible. Also, the suspension on my pram is fab; the other day I had to run for the tram and it didn't even wobble with both of them in it. That could be cos violet is such a big lump though :haha:

get the fucking violins out!!:-({|=:-({|=:-({|=:-({|=:-({|=

I suggest you and your friend leave this thread, bullying is not tollerated and anymore spotted from either of you two will result in further action on your accounts.

Thank you.

Brill suggestions guys. I'll have a look at the Donkey and the Vibe. Someone's also suggested a City Jogger one I'll check out. I LOVE the look of the Icandy Nat but remember you saying bits you weren't so keen on in Reading so I'll look at the others first.

xx

but your right i am going to leave this thread i should never have got involved in the 1st place!! but as far as bullying goes i think someone needs to look else where :growlmad::growlmad:

in fact some where else where full stop!! baby club is full of two faced nasty bitches!!:growlmad::growlmad: so many new mums and others have been upset by such judgemental people when they were only looking for help and advice:dohh: iv'e met some amazing people along my journey here:thumbup: but iv'e also come across some very nasty people who love to turn it around on everyone else! :winkwink: yet always come out on top:shrug: i guess some people could always fall in shit and smell of roses huh?

i guess i'm just jealous hahahaaa:haha::haha: yeah that's it:haha::haha:cause you have everything and me/us have nothing:dohh:

the best place is the breast feeding section:thumbup::thumbup:
good bye you bunch of two faced cows:mamafy::mamafy::mamafy:

sorry mod's! x

God what a vile comment Kelly29. This is Baby Club, not a club for people with the mental age of toddlers. Kittyventura is a newly pregnant young mum - surely all she deserves is support, not vitriol? You should be ashamed of yourself, especially after having been warned by mods.

so ashamed of speaking my mind? no not at all that's exactly whats she's done the only diff is i'm not to scared to say it in front of her unlike her
