Just curious if anyone on here is using Soy Isoflavones which I heard is the natural equivalent to clomid? If so what brand?

Or maybe you know someone who used it and got BFP. What kind did they use? What dose and for how long?

I'm definitely interested in this topic... I thought soy was bad for women TTC?

This is my 2nd cycle using it. I bought mine from GNC. I have heard of lots of girls who got their BFP the very first month, unfortunately that wasn't me :(. I actually couldn't tell any difference in my cycle at all. I had heard it can move OV forward by a few days but I still OVd on CD 18 as usual. I had also heard it could increase the LP but mine was still only 9 days. I was pretty disappointed but over this last year have learned not to get my hopes up because the things that seem to work for everyone else doesn't usually work for me. From what I've researched you are suppose to take it the same days as you would clomid and since soy is weaker than clomid you double the mgs of the soy. So if you wanted to start with a dose as strong as 50 mgs as clomid then you should take 100 mgs of soy. I took it on cd 3-7 and increased the dose over those 5 days which I heard was more effective than taking the same dose everyday. I did 120 mgs, 120 mgs, 160 mgs, 160 mgs, and 200 mgs the last night. This month I did the same doses but took them cd 5-9. I still OVd on cd 18 and am now about 5 dpo. So...I hope that helped, let me know if you have anymore questions. Keep us posted if you try it! Goodluck :)

I've tried soy but didn't work for me. I know lot of girls on here who got their bfp using it though. My cycle was totally messed up by it, went all the way to day 56 so never ever again. UK ladies can get it from Tesco's for £4.

I took my 1st round of clomid this month and well I was reading about this soy being the natural clomid and it really caught my attention expecially after reading sevral articles on the net about it.

Here's a good i thought was very intreasting

According to this article soy is bad if you take it daily but if taken on days like clomid it can actually help some ppl. I think if this month doesnt go as plan I will be trying this hope it doesnt mess my cycle up and I'm one of the lucky ones :)
