 Im sorry... if its any consolation B's been awake most of the day for the last 3 days and I cant leave the room without her getting upset... bw not an option atm so am stuck in the lounge :(

... and we need new central heating so its coooooold (added to that fact we may need to go & stay at in-laws for a few days  )

We're going on holiday this week!!!

Haha! Not really (I wish!) - we're going to my mums to stay for a few days while my mum is away! How sad, but I am so excited. She has a garden and sky tv, and the weather is a bit better so we can play out the back!

LO is a lot better today whoop! I think his cold was mixed with his 3 month growth spurt which made him doubly bad..

Katie slept from 8pm till 8am last night..... she didn't even wake when I fed her at 11pm!! :happydance:

Im going out tonight and my mum and dad are coming down to babysit.... I dare say this is the night she will decide to be awake all evening...lol

Wow, check out these sparkler babies STTN! I think we are a long way off that yet (although in some strange way i am glad as i already miss him now he sleeps all evening  )

Hope Katie keeps it up for you though chrissie, and that you enjoy your night out

I'm glad you've found us oushka and that things are still going good :D

We've been having a tricky time of it this past week or so, i think it's a combination of a growth spurt and teething and reflux  but we're getting through it, and (drum roll please) Toby is officially 4 months old today :cloud9: And so is Katie, so happy 4 month birthday babies!!! :happydance:

Aw nobody wants an upset Belle... I wonder what's troubling her :(

Jenny - I love those kinds of breaks, less stress, most relaxation :D

Chrissie -it's interesting you say that, I keep meaning to ask if anyone else's little one behaves differently when there's visitors?

at first E seems more flirty than usual when there are visitors, very smiley and she bats her eyelashes, but then as she gets used to them being there she acts more herself (ups and downs), it varies depending on who the visitors are. sometimes she gets so overwhelmed she falls asleep OR yells at us all. hehe. i love her.

Finley is giving me 4 hours now between most night feeds but every third day or so he has the worst gas and squirms/farts from 4 am onwards... still it is huge progress.

Ladies, I had three days of spotting at the beginning of February and now 31 days later I am having light spotting again...:hissy:

I think I would be more accepting of the :witch: if it was because my little man was going longer between feeds...but every 2 hours during the day and every 4 hours at night (except about 5 times since he was born where he has gone one or two more hours).

The spotting is mixed in with lots of watery cm...not my typical AF that is for sure.

Anyone else have this?

Thomas is definitely harder to settle down when we have visitors, he really enjoys having other people around and all the attention but then he can get quite over stimulated and sometimes a bit overwhelmed.

When my mum visited recently for a few days, on the last day we had a few people round for lunch too and by late afternoon Thomas just got really clingy and just wanted to cuddle me which he normally doesn't really want anymore cos he's too nosy. I think he was just shattered.

Snuggle, sorry I'm a bit clueless hon :/

It's interesting about visitors... I *think* Hazel gets more clingy, I don't think it's me or that I'm imagining it. It seems to visitors/gparents that she's more fussy than she actually is - but they won't leave her be. We have to almost insist she's given space just to lay down and kick, even then she has toys and faces thrust at her in overwhelming amounts.

Katie fell asleep before I went to change but the minute I was ready to go, she woke up and wanted more milk..... we left shortly after giving her a top up but she was still awake and apparently cried for 30 mins before going to sleep.... I felt so guilty when we got home and my mum told me..... Katie paid me back though by biting me and pinching my boob when i was feeding her afterwards......lol

Haha chrissie33, their little personalities are really showing arent they!! Marley "shouts" at me when hes woken up in the morning and he wants me to pick him up, its not quite a cry, its not quite a babble, its like a really loud "ooooiiiiyyyaaa ....... aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......(long silence) .. AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" haha bless him.

He also has a new obsession with my hands now. He just loves to hold and touch my hands when hes feeding or falling asleep.

In this piccy i stayed like that with him til he woke up .....nearly 2 hours later! So cute though :) My gorgeous Marley Moo xxxx

Beautiful pic!!!! Finn holds my thumb when he nurses too.

My bleeding is heavier today so I think the dang witch found me.

Chrissie don't feel too bad...as you said she got you back

ClaireLousie thats a beautiful photo :)

Snug - I was going to say thats just how my af started, a few days of odd spotting with cm and then full af...

Belle has been better this weekend, still a bit fussy but she did a really big trump last night & I wonder if its been a bit of tummy ache (tho she hasnt showed any of her usual signs, maybe she was just feeling uncomfortable... but not in pain?).

B is good with visitors, she wont nap while there here but stays pleasant and is happy to play and when it gets too much (like you Seraphim, they insist on giving her constant attention/toys shoved in face that even B gets bored of!) people are just about ready to leave anyway :)

We're off on a roadtrip today... down to Nottinghamshire & back to deliver my nana home. B has always slept on long journeys but for the last fortnight hasnt... so Ill be armed with books & toys and anything I can find to keep her happy.
At least the sun is shining.

We took LO out for a proper family afternoon, which we hadn't really done before (didn't have the weather!). It was great - we also were looking at the place we went to as a possible wedding venue, but the big house was shut so we'll have to go back!

Took some photos - first 3 are from yesterday and the last one is from someday last week :)

Culann has really taken to a toy lion we've named Horatio! He likes certain books but hes never really liked any of the stuffed toys he got as presents. Its very cute! Took us 45 minutes to drive out to the place we went to yesterday afternoon and he spent the entire time stroking him. He concentrated so hard!

That is a very gorgeous pic ClaireLouise, absolutely adorable!! Jenny, fab pics too hun.
We went for a flight today (DH got his private pilots license last year and got a share in a light aircraft) - Katie's first one since she was in my tummy. Was a lovely day out and she was so good - slept on the plane and only fussed when she got hungry :) Next trip to the Isle of Wight to visit DH's mum - hopefully in next week or so :)

Aww beautiful pics clairelouise and jenny :cloud9:

It sounds like everyone has been making the most of the weather with family days out :D OH is back on day shifts now for a bit so hopefully we'll get chance to do that now too

Toby has a favourite toy at the minute too jenny- it's funny because it's not one we got for him or one we would have specifically picked out for him to have as a favourite, it's this french rabbit with really long limbs that one of OH's sisters bought for him, and i think he likes it because he can grab the limbs and suck it's ears :haha: We call it his "lapin" (not very original i know- horatio is a great name for a lion btw ) and he just loves it so it features in sooooo many photographs now!

Here is one:

Aww Toby is gorgeous!

Anyone else LO's got teeth/have teeth yet? Kacies got 2! Can't believe it. She was sleeping through the night, but has now got into the habit of going to bed at 7, waking at 3, then waking again at 5:30/6 :(

Heeee look at his cute feets! :D

I'm not even going to tempt teeth by talking about them!! ;)
