special present for new daddy or soon to be daddy

I am due on January 10th so have decided to put together a special daddy's survival box for my bf for christmas.

The box will contain:
a peg (I have painted a wooden one and written 'daddy's nose peg' on each side
some ear plugs
some rubber gloves
a piece of paper with "The plot" written on it for when he loses the plot!
an eraser to erase any mistakes
chocolate cigar (neither of us smoke)
i love daddy photo frame


I will probably add other bits but those are my ideas at the moment.

Anyone else getting their OH something special for christmas to mark becoming a daddy?

awww that is a really cute idea! If you know what the sex is you could add things like a bib with 'I love daddy' on it or something.

I will be doing something like this for my OH for xmas

I don't know the sex unfortuntely - its a bit of a sore point for me right now!

aww thats a good idea, i would of done it last year if i had thought of it .


u can get i love daddy bibs that could be for both boy or girl from next or mothercare. or you could get a daddy cup/mug

What a great idea! I might have to 'steal' it for hubby.

I have seen a book called something like the babies handbook or something like that, you know one of those joke type books, it looked quite good. Might look for one for hubby - I'm sure he could use the refresher before this one comes along (and he's really difficult to buy for at the best of times!)
