We lost my dad in June and my mum is really struggling, we have always gone to their house on Christmas day for dinner but come home then spend Boxing day there too.

My mum is huge on Christmas, but as we all are, is dreading it without him this year.

Me and OH had a chat and decided we would spend Christmas eve with my mum but we are already getting questions off DS, 'How will Father Christmas know?' etc...

Any tips on how to make it less confusing and more exciting?

We love Christmas at home but we feel she really needs the support this year.

When your DS writes the letter to Santa, add a little note at the bottom asking please could you deliver to (your mum's address) as we will be staying there for christmas.
Make sure he writes the postcode to make *extra sure* santa finds it, it he's not happy with that print off a google map showing directions to you mum's house for Santa to follow. x
