Spotting during ovulation??

I should be ovulating either today or tomorrow, and I woke up this morning and I had spotting when I went to the bathroom. We did BD last night, but I've never had spotting after BD and we didn't do anything very rough. I'm just curious if anyone has ever had spotting during ovulation. And what on earth does it mean? Nothing bad I hope! Thanks so much for your help.

I am not sure but i think this may be happening to me now. Noticed a twinge which i thought could be spotting before af but other indicators say i might actually be ov.

I had this once, the cycle before I fell pregnant!

It lasted for 2-3 days. I was rather worried but after researching it, found that its something many women experience. It can sometimes be caused to a folicle bursting etc. I read if it continues in future cycles to consult you GP to be sure! I have also heard bleeding during ovulation can mean you are extra fertile too!
