Stabbing pains 'down there'

For the last few days ive been getting twinges/stabbing pains right at the bottom of my stomach/pubic bone area but its right inside, not sure if its my cervix? When the pains come they only last a few seconds but it stops me in my tracks. Only happens 1-2 times a day. What could it be?

Good ole lightening crotch. It's crappy, but it should be a good indication that baby is moving down.

There's really no telling. I've been having it since week 30 some and I'm still here, ugh.

I had these pains all last week and then at My docs app they told me she was transverse so not baby engaging for me but could just he things getting prepared xxx

I remember these lightening pains when I was pg with my ds! I think it's baby just getting ready to engage.

Cant really tell by looking at the bump if baby has only just went in

Thanks ladies, hopefully these pains are a good sign then hehe. Been having a lot of discomfort in my pelvis and aching low down too x
