What is the difference from stage 1 milk?

When do u give this to bubba?

SMA recently changed their 'stages' and Stage 2 is now the one you give from 6 months ...( it used to be hungry baby milk at stage 2 then stage 3 at 6 months.) Theres also a stage 3 at 1 year if you prefer this from moving onto cows milk.

I am unsure of other brands.

Ben went from stage 1 to hungry baby quite quickly then he went onto stage two at about 5 1/2 months.

Hope this helps xxx

ive been wondering this too because i wanted to change lexi onto it and my hv said there was no point as its hardly any different and the only reason they make it is because they cant advertise stage 1 milk as they have to promote breast feeding :(
but one of my friends moved her baby onto it and says it helps her sleep through the night so im confused!

Stage 3 milk (follow on milk) is the stuff for 6 months plus, and that's what they are allowed to advertise.

Stage 2 (in cow and Gate anyway) is milk for hungrier babies.

We skipped stage 2 and went to stage 3 which promotes more iron in it.
