Yes I know he will be too little to understand and that I don't really need to do him a stocking ..... but I still do one each for my own kids even though they are all grown up and I want him to have one too - as much for Tattie to open as for him

So far I have a couple of safe little wheeled cars/toy animals and I'm going to get a set of stacking beakers, some bath squirters, a couple of cowboy style bibs and some socks .... but what other age appropriate small toys (so that they fit in a stocking) can I get?

chunky cars
soft play balls
dummy (if has 1)
little people (fisher price - they say 12months but there are no bits to them)
chunky animals/dinosaurs (wilkinsons have dinos at £1.65 each again no bits all in 1 piece)
drinks cup/beaker
knife/fork/spoon set (£1 shop have loads)
plate/bowl set (£1 shop)

hope these help. x

What about my first words board books ... for a little later
Cutlery/plate set
Teethers
Cloth books that attach to the buggy/cotside
Baby/kiddie toothbrush
amber necklace for teething
Chunky crayons and a artists pad (£1 shop do these)
A Taggie
Personalised dummy clip if he uses one

Argh I cant think :) xXx

i think all my idea's have gone by the lovely posters above me, but for maddi (1st xmas at 6months) we did - socks, small books, taggie blanket, soft slippers, chunky crayons, bibs and a dummy.
btw, think its a gorgeous idea :cloud9: xxx

ive got so far... (poppy will be 10 months at xmas) big chunky crayons, a blanket with her name stitched on it, new dummy, peppa pig toothbrush, packet of chocolate buttons, plush reindeer, xmas bib

the works do a few little bits that are good, ive got them for my LO, like a foam character ball, a slinky, mini books ect :)

In his Minipose has a plastic Tigger toy, a Tigger wash mit, My 1st Christmas socks, a wooden car and a Mini Tigger floopsie (he loves Tigger).

The socking we ordered turned out to be tiny but we also had a teether, a spoon and fork set, a crab shaped bath sponge and bath squirters to put in it.

Most of the idea's have been already said but Matthew's stocking so far consists of -

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse oversized bouncy ball type things x2 (he loves mmch and balls lol get in shopping centre's kiddy machines £1 each)
Chunky Lorry
Chunky Polic Car
Chunky Ambulance (all £1 each in tesco's and 18months+ but there's no bit's etc!)
Tommee Tippee first cutlery set (£1 in asda event)
Spongebob Cutlery Set (50p in BM Bargains)
Two toddler hard plastic section plates 66p each in Tesco's
Thomas the Tank Engine Vests x2 (one's with no poppers and ages 2-3 but teeny sizing!) £1.25 in Heatons
Big Chunky Crayons 99p in BM Bargains
Bandana Bibs for the dribbles

Still to get for it -

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Dvd
Handy Manny Dvd
(he loves the playhouse disney channel and is too smart for his own boot's and can turn it on himself :haha:)
Beaker Cup
Personalised Clip for Sophie the Giraffe (he loves sophie and Im always afriad he'll lose her when we're out!)
ToothBrush
Bath Squirters and Net to store them (seen a net in poundland that's small enough to fit in stocking lol)
Socks
Those expanding facecloths you seen in boots on three for 2 and in poundland think the'll amuse him in the bath watching them expand and turn into cloths lol!
Clip on Buggy Book's

And then anything else I can squeeze in or think of

I loved the stocking the most out of everything on Christmas so want LO to be the same lol

ive also got her a bath toy tidy (needed one anyway)
