Strep b

Is any one here a carrier of strep b 1?

It never got explained to me and i was wondering could this be why i have not got a bfp?!?!

It would be good to speak to others who are carriers and had it explained to them

Hi hun

I don't think strep B has any effect on TTC

It is more of an issue in labour and passing the infection to the baby as he/she is delivered (strep B lives in the cervix and top of the vagina)

carriers need antibiotics at the FIRST sign of labour to stop the infection passing to LO

Yes as no effect ttc.

just during labour and have to have antibiotics.
