My husband came home all panicky the other day as his FIL had told him that "on all credit cards in the uk, the minimum payment is £35 and the APR has to be 30%" this scared my DH as he hadn't been told and the APR would be much more then his current card has.
I told him that he's only just taken out his credit card - we have 0% for the first six months and not to worry about minimum payments (he hardly spends on it so it's only a fiver each month) Also the bank would inform us of any changes. Where the hell did he get this pile of crap story from?
My FIL is an idiot that loves screwing with my DH head. As if he's an f**cking know it all!!!!
