Sure start grant question

After sending off your form, did your recieve the form back? It came in my post today, they appear to of ripped of a page, and stamped it saying 'recieved' but they've enclosed another envelope to them...? i'm confused does this mean it's been rejected or what?

Just seen what the problem was hun, the bloody midwife didnt stamp it properly, like there wasnt enough ink on the stamp so its got a missing patch they highlighted the 'stamp' bit, so i assume i need to get it done again. ANOTHER reason for me to HATE my hospital

Aaah that is so annoying! I was worried they'd send mine back cos the midwife wrote the wrong date on so it was meant to be like 15/09/10 or something and she wrote 15/10/10 which was the date AFTER i sent it off.. but obvs they didn't care xxx

Haha well honestly, not to sound mean, I'm not sure how your economy is staying afloat with how much they give you all! It makes sense that they need to cut, unfortunately.

No i totally agree! It's nice we all get so much help, but they don't draw the line at people with low income or babies on the way. Our government hands out money to EVERYONE. We have so many illegal immigrants come here and they give them bloody MANSIONS to live in and all sorts.
There was a story not long ago about an illegal immigrant family coming to England, and they said they needed more room to live and the government paid they're £2000 a month rent and gave them loads of benfitis.

if they sent the form back to you there must be some information you haven't put down/correctly.
