When Can i ask my doctor for a sweep?

I am 39 weeks .... I have an apt tomorrow with her and I know that if I am not dilated then I can't but just wondering if they do sweeps before your due date ( 40 weeks )

I think it depends on where you live, and on your doctor. I had one done last week at 38+6..... I didn't even have to ask for it, my doctor offered....

Yeah defiantly depends.....I'm 40 weeks and mine does them on your due date if its you 1st baby and then if it doesn't work another one the following wk! x

I havent even been offered one yet.... Have the hospital today and am going to refuse to leave with out one. LOL.x
