No way! no tinsel, no foil ceiling decorations! I have wreaths and little stockings with coal in them and stuff but I cant stand all that tacky stuff.

My gran bought me a HUGE light up dancing moving snowman you put on the wall (looked like he was skiing) one year for my birthday Binned it.

My gran used to have the decs hanging from ceiling nearly took your head off they was that low! i am more just a tree kinda girl, am thinking of doing more this year tho cos little one is older...

No tack here. But when i was little i had a tacky tree in my bedroom with all the old baubles that my mum (aka Christmas tree perfectionist) didnt want anymore, with multi coloured lights. Im going to have one in LOs play room this year.

might have to do that this year so he can trash that one.
how is everybody going to keep their tree child free!!? might have to barricade mine into the corner of the room and shove or chair right up against it!

Im going to get a cheap tree from tesco or something. Then every year the kids can decorate it, saves them messing with mine

Forgot to add that on Christmas Eve i was allowed to sleep with the fairy lights on, it was lovely!

aww we used to have our own tree when we were little and we got to decorate it ourself ( were never aloud near the main tree) and put all the tacky decorations and handmade bits on it x

the only tack we have is the ceiling decs that my husband decided to get last year from pound shop! i hated them but as december went on i grew to love them i have to have our tree looking nice though
