Tattoos, for losers?

what it could be and please don't be offended, is that maybe your washing your hands and not drying the area where the rings are properly, if soap or water is left under things like this it can cause irritation rash etc.

I'm not offended. Actually I did by a new type of soap and I hadn't thought about that. Thanks, I'll make sure I'm extra careful with that. :flower:

My OH has the most amazaing skull piece on his leg.
He is CERTAINLEY not any of the things stated in the first post!

He hasn't had a disadvantaged background, is a wonderfull loving father, never been to jail etc.
I am offended by that!

I am also planning on getting tattoos myself.
I think you would be suprised by people who actually have tattoos that you do not know about! Helen Mirren has one for God sake! :dohh:

I'm loving all the examples of famous people who have tattoos! They really don't belong together in any other way, but they are making me smile.

best thing to do which is annoying is take all rings off wash hands then make sure you dry your hands then dry again before putting rings back on when the ring is wet its harder to keep the area dry, new soap can cause problems and if left on skin even more lol... again sorry if this offends you not trying to question your hygine.

I have 3 tattoos and i love them all.

My biggest and boldest is Taylors Memorial tattoo, its on my right arm and its a huge butterfly with her name on it.

I maybe working class but i say this to the op your entire post is judgemental and highly offensive.

Well I must say I am proud to be scum then! I have 4 tattoos that I spent a fair amount of money on and a lot of time planning. All of my tattoos represent who I am, one representing my grandmother who I was very close with and has passed on, as well as the very thought out tattoo that I got in memory of my angel baby. Getting my tattoos was a decision well made. Since my tattoos are covered up would your mom think differently of me after getting to know me and then finding out I have tattoos and piercings?

Secondly I am proud to say that both OH and I work very hard for the money that we have. Nothing wrong with being working class.

Cheers to all the lower, middle, upper class tattooed and non-tattooed out there!

i dunno why but this thread has helped me decide im going to get a ring tattoo to represent my marriage with DH. thanks for the idea whoever mentioned it!

Lol I've been having this same issue recently. I think I got soapy water stuck under my wedding/engagement the one day and got a rash which has been very persistent since then.

:dohh: From that it seems you like to look for arguments. If not you want to go out of your way to offend or piss people off.

I don't see how any of that is relevant?

I haven't read the whole thread since its 14 pages long. I am a tattooist and to be quite honest I find it extremely offensive and upsetting to hear that people still have this stereotypical view of tattooed people. True I've seen my fair share of scumbags come to get inked but I've also seen firemen, policemen, teachers, engineers, doctors, various other valuable members of the community and some very intelligent people get tattoos!

Tattoos have come a long way since getting a swallow on your neck in prison, the sooner people realise this the better  xxx

i'll never have any tattoos ever, but i don't look down on people that have them. just not something for me, i don't have anything significant enough in my life to warrant having something embedded deep into my skin for the rest of my life.

I think Dizzyisacow is just showing, from previous threads from the OP, that she starts topics that are controversial and offensive...and these are some examples of threads she has started.

Ah I see! Thanks for clearing up, hope I didn't upset anyone! xxx

Only read OP. I think that attitude is wrong in so many ways. It's closed minded, ignorant and so judgemental it is unbelievable!!

Some people have tatoo's for a memorial of lost loved ones. I have seen some lovely ones in rememberance of babies. It has nothing to do with class what so ever.

TBH I'm not so sure it's trolling but just a lack of social skills.

I Think that that post was really rude! it is totally disgusting marking everyone with the same brush just because we have tattoos. I have never been a yobbo or a chav or theif.

Its a bit hard not to feel targeted by your comment. And i don't normally get offened by what someone says

Don't get to upset ladies. Sometimes people have very close minded views :hugs:

 I hope it is a lack of social skills. But some of the posts are extremely offensive IMO. I enjoy BnB and would hate to think someone posts just to get a rise out of others!
