Tax credits?

Hi ladies, I've got thick head on today and could do with your help.

I renewed our Tax credits over the phone on Monday. (A lot later than I intended but we've just moved house and couldn't find the paper work with OH's self employment figures on, but it's done phew!)

I normally get paid every Friday, I should get my money tomorrow with out any problems shouldn't I? We desperately need this money to come in as we need to go food shopping as the cupboards are nearly bare. eek

I'm probably just being stupid and every thing will be fine in the end, but if it doesn't go in I'm not sure what to do.

Yeah you should get what you've been getting as normal tomorrow. When we re-newed we got our normal tax credits, then our back pay, then the new monthly amount all within the same month.

Thanks hun, I couldn't remember how it worked last year. I've checked my bank account this morning and my usual amount has gone in. phew.
