Team Baby for 2012 - over 35's

Hi guys :hugs:,I miss u all, where have u been,am feeling a bit lost today:hugs: ,as u are on the topic of sister in laws, mine just told me last week to throw in the towel as I was over the hill, and 43 was way too old to have babies ,I def wanted to slap her so please someone do it for me :happydance:Xxxxx

ahhh families hehehehe. We have not told anyone we are trying either..only told a few of my close friends whom wanted me to anyway and would NEVER tell anyone in his or my family...that is the main goal.

I do use the user CP part only and it does make my life easier... that way it tells me about the threads I have already gotten involved in and when there have been chances on them. Otherwise I can see getting lost in the shuffle.

Oh there are many SILs out there who need a good slapping! Mine are lovely and supportive.

I have 2 SILs both single and the youngest (25) is lovely and a little like a kitten as she is so easily distracted with shiny things :laugh2: The older of the 2 (32) just can't see the positive side of anything :growlmad:

DH's family (though not him) are strict Baptists so really frown on sex before marriage and the 2 SILs move in the same circles that they always have. They both are in primary teaching and the only male teachers are all married or attached so no prospect for hubbies there. They go to a church with the average age of 50+ and the only single men are under 14 and in the youth section they both help to teach at Sunday school. They have one male friend who is married to their closest friend. So no chance of them meeting a man through those arenas.

They don't like pubs or nightclubs and refuse to try anything new :nope: I suggested an evening class but nooooo, I suggested speed dating but noooooo and I suggested dating websites but the 32 year old's answer was "only sad people meet via the internet" to which I replied "oh right so you forgot I met your brother via the internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :growlmad: The eldest believes the God will provide a husband and fair enough but he needs a helping hand surely?

Well I have had the worst AF cramps today so the point where I was feeling ill with the pain so I am hoping AF isn't too much longer in arriving as I am fed up of the cramps :(

I have to agree with Indigo!

You are only over the hill when the menopause gets you and until then you have a chance every month of getting a BFP.

Desperado I hope you get your BFP really soon and then that will show her you are definitely not over the hill

The look of guilt on her face when I pointed out she'd insulted me & her brother was priceless but DH was worried I would slap her :trouble:

I limit my encounters with my in laws to once a month max as they are all hard work :nope: Once a month possible seems a lot but they live 5 minutes walk up the road

DH is giving me back rubs and hot water bottles to help with the cramps bless him

Wow...5 minutes away?....I would move....

Well thankfully we established quite early on that close physical proximity doesn't mean they can pop in whenever they want. And then I filled the house with 3 cats and 4 big dogs which hog the sofa so if they do call by there is no where for them to sit and they hate getting dog & cat hair on their clothes :laugh2:

Wouldn't it have been easier putting a Keep Out sign on the front door:haha::haha:

:haha: Now if you can train your dogs to sh*t on their shoes on command.....you might be looking at even fewer visits....:haha:

Yeah but not as cuddly when I need a cry or a hug and the dogs join in with my singing when I do the housework :D

Indigo my old cat used to s**t in my ex's shoes every time he shouted at me - I love that cat :D Thankfully the cat adores DH

Wow....you have a full house....
I love my pets, but I also am a bit of a neat/clean freak...and I am forever losing the hair-battle...
We have 2 cats and 1 dog...I feel sorry that my dog is the only canine in the house....but she sheds as much as 2 dogs....
