Team Tick Tock~35+ TTC~Racing to Beat the Clock!

There are beautiful picture's, and such greenery.. all we have here right now is snow and ice:growlmad:

We haven't made the effort to go away for the weekend since I was pregnant but have talked about it.
I am not sure who I would trust with Emily for that long. I only have my elderly father & step-mom close by and I know that couldn't handle looking after a toddler.
I downside to having a full-time career where you put in long hours is you don't have many friends outside of work.

Well, I'm a stay at home mom with a good amount of friends, but I still don't have many possible candidates for babysitting. It takes a really good friend to leave her home and come stay here for a few days. How many folks want to do that? My mom used to do it, but she passed away almost 5 years ago. My best friend used to do it, but she works full time and is no longer available for such things. And although I have other friends, I think it takes a friend that is almost like family to go through such trouble. I can't bring myself to ask anyone. I was really nervous about asking my sister to stay here. She is a very young 21 year old (young for her age is what I'm trying to say) and is in the process of leaving her majorly deranged, drug addicted husband, who has been abusive with her. I learned through my kids that he came here twice while we were away. Thankfully, he didn't do anything stupid (or at least damaging to my kids) while he was here. So, I totally understand your predicament.

I am also a SAHM now.. but for years and years I worked for a wonderful company that damanded most of my time ( outside of my family time that is) and to top that off we bought a home alot further up north from where we used to live so I left most of what friends I had.
I have older daughters ( 21,20,18) but goodness.. my two oldest is so busy with school, work and social life.. my second youngest has watched Emily for a few hours while we go out to dinner a couple of times but leaving them for an over night trip is out of the question as she is only 18 !!

Tell your older daughters I said they should clear their calendar for you. :winkwink:

I'm here too! How is everyone doing? When is everyone testing? FX'd for all of you! :dust:

I wish I could know YESTERDAY but the earliest (based on the 6 days before missed period) would be tomorrow... I also ordered some "supposedly" high sensitivity sticks (10
miu/ml HCG Sensitivity) but only placed order on Saturday...says 2 to 6 days delivery and as far as I can tell they have not been shipped yet:growlmad: so thinking that by the time I get them I would have already found out with the regular ones LOL

sad but kind of afraid to test

I remember that feeling! I hated testing I hated seeing BFN's. It will happen! And you have to test! I can't justify peeing on any more sticks! LOL!!!

it is addicting isn't it? LOL

it's like a science experiment "how can I make this stick change colors!" lol

Well the bloat is a bit better this morning (but then again it always is in the am) after a good BM (I know, TMI) but them again I had 3 of those yesterday too and still was bloated at night. I ate greens most of the day yesterday (and pizza that hubby insisted on having... I wan not enjoying it as much) and that usually gets me going real quick but I guess it was not enough LOL... some times I think I am a tad bit nauseous but then think it is all in my head. B@@bs are sore but then again PMS does that too so...had a few skin break outs a few days ago...now on my hairline? really? I rarely, if ever, get breakouts...but again, could just be PMS... I swear I wish the symptoms were MUCH different than the ones from pms too!

Do you have a Dollar Tree near you? Their high sensitivity tests are only a buck. I'm going to go get some more today. I hope it's a different cashier...

I'm testing in the morning...it will be my Birthday (and hubby's too!) and our Anniversary. So I guess a :bfn: will put a damper on the day. But I'm not feeling very hopeful for a positive, so I'm trying to remind myself not to get hopes up too high for a positive result. I feel like a do every month at this time in my cycle; I can feel AF knocking on the door.

So, how are things going for you? When's your next OB appointment?

Hey ladies,

I am here too. Just been kind of quiet. But I am here. How is everyone doing?

all good, all good... went ahead and did a FRER this am with FMU and a BFN ...hahahaha not surprised... I think it's too soon

I had a doctor appt yesterday. They did another ultrasound and had me sign all the forms for early testing. They are going to send me to a specialist given my history with Alida and family history. So I will get to see the baby about once a month! They will do an ultrasound everytime, but now it means twice as many appts! That's alright with me, I'd rather be safe than sorry.
The baby measured 8+2 yesterday. Still looks like a blob to me! LOL! but it was wiggling around alot!

My next appt is April 25 and they should call me today or tomorrow with my first Perinatologist appt.

 Hey there, ready! I understand being quiet. I do it often. Good to know that you're around, though. I hope you're doing well. I'm looking forward to your bfp.

ok so on the last picture today I can see the head position...NOW you post it LOL

Hope I get to jump on the baby bandwagon soon! Would love to see my little "blob" too :flower: I love US... I seriously thought about becoming an US tech... not sure what is required but love looking at babies lol. I modeled for Siemmens years ago and got to see the first detailed ones on pregnant women (to actually see the face details) and thought it was the most amazing thing ever!

Congrats!
