teething necklace

:rofl::rofl: I can just picture you standing around licking it.

Now that you mention it, I do remember reading something about true Baltic Amber being able to float and the fakes don't.

This is what they said:

Hi Kirsten,

I'm afraid that no, just from your photo there is no way to tell if it's amber. In some cases if the photo is good, then it may be possible to give an assessment, but in this case I just can't. It looks like it could be creamy Baltic amber beads, but that's a stretch. Try the hot needle test again, and also try the acetone test. Other than that, the best I can do is to try and find someone in your area who could eyeball it for you.

Cheers,

Tammi, Amber Gallery
That's good enough for me, lol, I'm sure it's real and I'mnot doing anymore pinning or licking!!

I can just imagine taking a necklace in somewhere to test it for me, and they start licking it. :laugh2:

Thanks for doing the dirty work and getting us some info. I'll order mine and see if I notice a change. That's a good enough test for me, I guess.
