Temp question

Not really sure where this post should go, so I apologize ahead of time if it's in the wrong spot.

I've been taking my temps this cycle to see when I've ovulated but it's my first time and I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Yesterday morning my temp was 97.7 when I woke up and this morning it was 98.3. Does this mean anything or does the jump need to be higher?

I thought temping was going to be easy...boy was I wrong! lol

I would say cd 10..how long are your cycles? Have you thought about using FF to log your temps? its rather easy to use.

I have really weird cycles...um...I had to take plan B at the beginning of this year and it has thrown my cycles way off. I was exactly at 28 days cycles until this. (And no it was not because I didn't want a baby, I was raped, just FYI.)

Anyway, after that my cycles have ranged from 39 days to 27 days. This past cycle was 28 days so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that my cycles are getting back to normal.

I have heard of fertility friend but wasn't really sure what I was looking for.

Who knew having a baby was so complicated. lol

join ff hun, all u do is take ur temp and just put it in as ur doing now and they do a chart for u , if ur temps 98 + 2mro u prob did O cd10 but its best doing it on ff cos they confirm it for u

Are you taking your temps at the same time every day before you get out of bed otwee or anything? that will make a difference too. Just checking. also I know if you get up to wee 2-3hrs before you take your temp that can also affect it. There are so many variable with the temping. Idealy your suppose to sleep 8hrs and then temp....easier said than done. Good Luck. I am no expert by the way it's just what I read. I was never good at temping. So I just use OPK's! Good Luck and I'm sorry about your probs back in Janurary. Hang tough!

I would say if your temp stays up tom then you Oed on Cd10.

I do do opk's but this month has been very weird. I got what I thought was positive a couple days ago, then tested again that evening and it was negative. I was expecting to have a darker line...didn't happen though. And I haven't had a positive since. I'm not really sure what is going on.

I agree. But I know how most people are and didn't want them thinking that I have no right trying to have a baby or being on this site because of it. People are very quick to judge others...And I don't mind explaining a bit.

So we will see what tomorrows temp is...I'm not sure i'm ovulating tomorrow because the ovulation test I took today was not positive...
