No the blood tests are fine from what I've heard, it's just the amniocentisis (or however you spell that). But since we wouldn't consider going any further with the testing we decided (a very personal choice for everyone I think) that it's not worth it to have the blood tests done. I really think it's up to you and what you are the most comfortable with doing.

No its the test they offer you when your further on, not sure what that one involves but thats the one that carries the risk of miscarriage. The bloods i think give you a one in whatever chance of it having it. I think when my mum had it done with my brother as she was 39 at the time it gave her a 1 in 6000 chance or something.
