The best sanitary pads are?....

If you're having a c-section Id say you might not need to bother with maternity pads, I'd say bodyform secure fit night time :D

I had a c section on thursday morning and used the boots maternity ones in the hospital and the boots ultra slim maternity ones since I got home (yesterday). I got pretty well hoovered out and then breastfeeding triggered the rest of the bleeding but it has been pretty light other than in the first 24 hours x

natracare! I used their maternity pads the first few days and then switched to their 'normal' pads. They were great.

I had a section 4 weeks ago & also used boots maternity pads for 3 weeks then the last week used always (purple box) lol

if your not having a c sec its recommended that you stay on maternity pads for as long as possible even though they feel like you have a brick between your legs!, I switched to regular pads a week after labour and became very sore down below (I had an episiotomy btw) and midwife said its because regular pads have a plastic sheet over the top which rubs and can make you sore even if you didn't have stitches, not everyone will get this but if it can be avoided then why not :flower:

I would still say go for maternity as they're very comfy :)
