The losers club

:haha: lazy little monkey! Archie would probably opt for the same though :haha: I've just cleaned the downstairs whilst archie's followed me round, he kept trying to put his fingers in the Hoover :dohh: I think we'll go outside to play for an hour (although the weather doesn't look promising) then it'll be nap time, then lunch. Then Sarah and Sapphire are bringing Ellie and Holly round for a playdate :) ooh, and tea at mil! Phew!

Aw lettuce :hugs: If you want to do sleep training with Jen, then go for it. We would all support you and none of us would judge! The only thing I would say is make sure you are completely certain it's what you want to do. You don't want to start it and then stop as all the crying and stress would have been for nothing.

Well I have a fun day of going to the Drs with madam. She woke up this morning and was completely crusted over again and has gooey eyes again so I need to double check it's nothing contagious, otherwise I'll have to cancel her little party!! Might pop to hobby craft and Range after and get those final bits for the cake.

Damn, just changed her and the madam has done a poop!

Just had my aunt on the phone. Think she's miffed with me. She said that my cousin had noticed on my facebook me talking about party bags and was asking what we were doing for her birthday. I said just having a little get together for her little friends from baby group. She then said are we not having a family thing and I said no, just going out with the granparents for dinner on her actual birthday. I think she's pissed off. Surely she can't expect to come to the party when it's just for babies and my cousins little girl is 6! Plus we live in a flat so don't exactly have loads of room! She then said that her and my cousin will club together and get AM £10 for us to buy her something. If it's £10 between them I am going to hit the roof!! I know it's not all about money, but a fiver each from a great aunt and a cousin and her family just takes the pee!!

Lol I'd vote for the car but only cause I get stared at by the locals here :haha:

We've got nothing planned today, but I may get bored and have a wander somewhere.

Daisy is laying on the floor playing with a hat, farting and growling :dohh:

:hugs: Lettuce hunni, CC isn't the root of all evil as some would have you believe. Hell, I've even left Holly to CIO when I can tell that overstimulation was the problem. Hollster spent much of early months crying (due to pain not cos I ignored her lol) she is *vaguely* normal and shows no ill effects from it. Sleep deprivation sucks, I know exactly how you feel :hugs:

Hope AM is better for her party, when is it?

Kimmy you make me feel so lazy, I'm still sat here eating my breakfast :haha:

Thanks girls. I know, it must work for some, it's just if I can handle the crying! :haha: I'm going read up a bit more on it today, and call the doctor as that rash is still there. She was up from 12-2 then up at 3:45 andi was so annoyd and tired I just brought her into bed at 4, then she slept til 7, woke up to DHs alarm but I got her to go back to sleep til 8.
Wow kimmy, you are wonder woman, and sapphire, you're one up on me, I haven't had time to get breakfast yet! :haha:
That's not very nice of your aunt! :( it's not the money, it's the thought! :hugs:

Ok. I have a confession to make. When Holly is crying I turn the baby monitor off and turn it on every 5 minutes or so  I hate listening to it too.

Oh dear, hope AM is better for her party! Archie had tonsillitis for his so we had to cancel :( As for family getting pissed off the just let it go over your head, you ant please everyone!
Just taken Archie outside all wrapped up. Had a toddle up an down the street (holding my hand ofcourse!) he loves being outside, even though it's about -37!

I may beat you all....... I've taken rory to my nans and I'm at the gym!

Really hope AM is better for her birthday

Lettuce, you have gotta do what you thinks best but what i would say is maybe wait till rash has gone cus she must be under the weather bless. X

*knock knock* hiya ladies :D

can i come back in?

i have been working silly hours, running after a crazy baby and going to bed by 8pm every night :haha: and for some reason i thought it would be a good idea to go to baby group at 09.30am today on my day off? lucas was overtired, i was yawning my head off and we came home and lucas was snoring within seconds and i'm dying on the sofa!
plus he had two bottles in the night last night, i think the 6th tooth is about to rear its head...

:hi: fidget! Congrats on pregnancy! When did you find out?

Ohhh fidget! Congratulations! :hugs:

Yeah, ill wait til shes better. :) thanks.
At the gym eh? Well I walked 2 miles to bounce n rhyme :smug: Jen fell asleep on the way back home and is still asleep! so I had toast n cheese n hot chocolate. :)

I didn't do anything in the gym, I'm fooling ya! Just met the personal trainer for diet and training plans

I bought my flower and butterfly cutters to use and then take back :haha: I double checked the returns policy at Hobby craft and the cutters just slide out of the packaging so I can just slide them back in. I'm such a skank!! But they were £14.99 in there just for one pack! And I paid 3quid for both packs and postage from Hong Kong!!

Welcome back Fidget!

Back from the docs although we only got to see a nurse. Got some eye drops for AM. She wasn't 100% it was conjunctivitis and that it could be the body expelling the cold or that she's rubbed snot in her eyes! If it is conjunctivitis then she said she should be feeling b etter in a couple of days but still continue with the drops. So fingers crossed, party is still on!! It's on Saturday, so she has a few days to perk up.

It snowed here earlier! It better bloody stay away. It's freezing!!

Congrats fidget!!

Daisy is hard work today. She woke screaming from her nap after only 20 minutes and I've spent the last hour and a half trying to console her. Nothing works apart from rocking her but I've managed to put her back in her travel cot and hoping she nods off.

I know it's not her fault but I have two portfolios to edit and arrange for these job applications and I'm getting pissed off with daisy needed all my attention all day cause I have so much to do!! OH will get home from work expecting the washing up done and tea cooking at least and will get grumpy and if he does I'm just going to bed.

Why did he make us move :( I'm so stressed with the pressure of job hunting and looking after Doo :(

Hope AM is better for her party!!

Congrats fidget!
:hugs: to Emmy, hope things sort themselves out for you.
Got back from mil and tidied the house and put a load of washing in. Now going to get a shower and plonk in front of the tv before having an early night! Still waiting for hubby to get home from work, who said teachers have an easy life?!

Aw, I know how you feel Emmy. AM is such a good girl, but sometimes I still feel myself losing my patience when I am trying to do something!!

Wondering whether to make the cake toppers tonight? Hmmmm.... Kimmy or Emmy, I bought some paste colouring, so I knead the icing then add a touch of colour just on the icing then knead it through? Can you overwork icing? Also what shall I keep them in? Will they sweat in tupperware with a lid on? I saw a nifty trick for the butterflies, dry them over a folded bit of card so they keep their folded shape!!

Whats for dinner losers? We have sausage casserole. Basically sausages, pots, carrots and green beans cooked in gravy in the oven. AM was going to have some, but when I checked on it at 6 (been in for an hour) the potatoes were still like rocks!! So she had fish fingers and aunt bessie rosties! Not that she ate them (so I did )

Welcome back and congrats Fidget! :winkwink:

:hugs: Emmy, I hope Doo settles tonight so you can have a good rest.

Hope AM is better for her party.

Blondey, are you colouring up the icing just for the decorations or for covering the cake too? You can overwork icing but if it's for the decorations it doesn't matter, it's only when you're covering a whole cake that you nee to be careful about overworking. If you want the decorations to set hard leave them out on the side, open to the air. Also, once you've baked and iced your cake don't fridge it! It's not necessary and will make the icing wet and yucky x

Icing for the main cake will be white. So I hopefully won't overwork that! Just colouring the white icing I bought for the decorations! I read that you are supposed to use boiled apricot jam to stick it to the cake if you aren't using marzipan. Does it matter if it's raspberry jam? (that's what I'm putting in the middle) And does it need to be cooled?

Bloody hell, AM better appreciate all this work I'm putting in for her cake!!
