The losers club

Heart disease runs in my family too, I blame the Scottish genes

I blame the sottish breakfasts...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIA!! :cake: Hope you have a wonderful day Superbaby! :happydance:

Well done you for getting her to stay asleep. Hope she rests well for you.

Lol at fabby and the baby squat. :haha: I always sing Jumping Beans to Jenny in the hope it'll help my bingo wings... And now I do Horsey Horsey with her sitting on my shin, works out the thighs. ;)
I wonder why babies get scared of such specific things?! Surely everyone loves tesco men- they bring food! ;)
Great Michelle, I'll bring some wine! It's only 2.5hours drive...

Happy birthday Maria! Awww big one! Hope you have a fab day

Back in the day I was very addicted to exercise!

She was born at 20:46. This time last year I was going into full blown labour - in the middle of a meeting with a social worker

:cake: Happy birthday Maria!!! Do you have anything nice planned Nats?

I used to be addicted to exercise too. When I learnt to drive, I would often leave 6th form earlier to go down the gym!! I guess it's easier to fit in your life when you don't have a baby to look after!!

Did the flowers! I might do some more later as I have already broken a few and I'm sure I will break some more when sticking them on!! I even pushed the middle of them with a cotton bud to make the petals stick up a little bit....get me :haha:

Not up to much today. Got the hoover being picked up between the delivery slot of 9-7! Goijng to do some sorting out I think so less to tidy up for the party!!

Not today, we're having her party saturday

Ooo go you making your icing flowers! I'm not even attempting anything so complicated :haha:

Ooh get you Blondey! I was too lazy to make a cake, and didn't want to buy one that Holly couldn't eat. My nan complained and said I should have got a cake for them

:haha: Nats! Was Maria early?

Happy Birthday Maria! :cake: How does it feel Nats?

Doo's had NINE ounces of milk in her morning bottle, fat piggy, clearly it's not enough as she's now trying to eat a book :dohh:

awww happy birthday Maria :cake:
I know Blondey, all you home bakers put me to shame!!!!
T was up at 6 this morning, settled her til 6:45 then she was having no more of it!

I know what you mean Nats, I feel slightly sad about AM turning 1 at the weekend. I see squishy newborns and part of me misses that stage! But I'm glad we are waiting to have more as hopefully I'll appreciate it more when I do have another squishy newborn!!

Greedy Doo! AM was not greedy, I had to give her the morning bottle in 2 sittings. Doing half formula and half cows milk now. I bought some cartons as I refused to buy a new tub which will last nearly 3 weeks even without half and half!!

Well when I make the cake, I might not be putting anyone to shame, it could be a huge disaster!! I;ve cut loads of flowers out, but wondering how I should actually design them. I also don't know whether to stick a no 1 on it in icing and whether to fashion a ribbon and bow out of icing to put round the bottom. It's not even a big cake so I think it might look OTT. And that reminds me, need to pop to sainsburys to buy another cake tin, otherwise I'll have to cook the two bits separate!

I think I'm gonna be in tears when it comes to Doo's first birthday :(

I can't wait to see this cake Blondey!

happy birthday maria!!!

i'm really excited about lucas's birthday. i'm doing cookie monster cupcakes with a cookie in each mouth and a big elmo head cake lol. i think. i have changed my mind fifty times already ;)

i have to leave for work in 40 mins and i'm still in my pjs.... on the comp... doesn't look good!

I changed my mind about the cake loads! I was going to do cupcakes too. Grass like green butter icing and pink flowers, but I changed my mind as I have the assessment day the day before and also I read that grass icing is hard to do as it takes a while and the butter cream starts to melt in the bag! So I wimped out!!

There's no way I could attempt bake, I can't even cook. I've been spoilt with a hubby who is a very good cook. Were having a full figure mickey mouse cake made for him its £85 but she is amazing and they are delicious! My sil is making mickey cupcakes and cookies aswell

Can't believe you're all talking about cake again! :haha:
Don't know what to do for jennifers. I think I might borrow my parents house and make it a tea party, pimms on the lawn... ;) but dunno what cake suits? her birthday is fathers day this year. It'll be a Sunday.
Was always a nightmare weekend in our house, my mums birthday s the 16th June, their wedding anniversary is the 17th and fathers day is always around then too! :dohh: last year was interesting... I was induced the day before my mums birthday so I ruined her day cos she was so worried (turns out she was right to! :haha:) and Jen was born on their 36th wedding anniversary. Then fathers day was 2 days later. Lucky I had bought DHs presents in advance as I was still in hospital.
Next time I'm going to time it better. ;)

Babies turning 1 is cool, I love having a toddler instead of a baby that doesn't do much except eat, sleep and shit :haha: Am not really a fan of the baby stage at all, thank god it doesn't last long :D

GODDAMIT STOP TALKING ABOUT CAKE!!!
