Cora. Lee

I love the sound of Coralee but i do not like the way it looks.
I do like the way Coralie looks, however, i am concerned with how others will try to pronounce it.

What is the correct pronounciation? If it is spelled Coralie, how would you pronounce it? Cora-LEE or Cora-Lie or CORAL-ee?

I would pronounce them both the same way: Cora-LEE. But I think it's a tricky one with either spelling, I imagine the pronounciations would differ quite a bit from person to person especially depending on accents. I also prefer the spelling Coralie.

Coralie is on my list :flower: id pronounce them both cora-lee.
I would think it would be coralei or coralye to be pronounce with the lye sound at the end.

I'd pronounce it corra (with the o sound like in frog) - lee

Coralie is a very pretty name. Cora is lovely too, I pronounce that with the or sound like in door.

My natural reaction would be Cora-LIE, I like the alternative of lei or lye if you're open to suggestions

Cora-lee, just like the how you say ending to Natalie. X

Coralie I would say as Cora-lee but I understand your worry I think it would get pronounced wrong a fair few times, have you thought of having it spelled Coraleigh?

My DD2 is Rosalie, and no one ever has an issue pronouncing [Rosa-lee] or spelling her name. I also prefer the 'ie' ending.

I have to correct people with my own name and I don't mind.
