The NEVER had a BFP thread. Lets stick together ladies!

Yea we need to see an RE but we dont really have the money for that. The one dr we did deal with for the last 4 years hasnt done a thing for us. as much as i press for tests and answers he gives neither. just a huge waste of time. And my husband is in the process of joining the army but it could be over a year before we even get to deal with their drs. I just feel like there is no hope. its been so long but there hasnt even been a sliver of hope that it will happen.

There is absolutely hope if you can get a doctor who will actually do something for you. That's unacceptable that your doctor wouldn't do any tests or anything - absolutely unacceptable of him grrr.
If you have insurance at all you could try another doctor who will actually listen and give you some tests.
Pretty basic ones would be an SA for your husband, and estrogen and progesterone level tests for you.
Do you chart temperatures? That would tell you a lot about what your body is doing, even if you're having a regular cycle it might be as simple as you're not ovulating. Temping would reveal that, and you can kickstart it with a round of clomid, or even soy.
Lots of info around these forums about that.
Anyway, I just don't want you to give up hope and feel sad. Doctors can be useless, but you can learn a lot on your own and be your own advocate!

I've been married 2 1/2 yrs, not preventing, not even the hint of a bfp. Unfortunately we don't have insurance for me yet, but I know my cycles are screwed up majorly and I'm not ovulating on my own, so I've been taking natural steps on my own to try and fix things.
It doesn't seem to be working yet, but its still encouraging to feel like I'm doing SOMEthing to help.
There are things you can try that can help!
:hugs:

:hugs: heather, I completely understand what you're going through. It's been 10 cycles of perfect everything for us and we still haven't gotten lucky. A friend just for her bfp on had 15th cycle and it gave me so much hope, we will all get there eventually!

Itsmytime :hugs: for you too, if it was me I would keep seeing different doctors until someone listened.

Yea we don't have insurance and where I live no insurance covers infertility. I know there are ways around it but all in all we live in a crappy state with crappy drs. I found out after the fact that there was a reason my dr. couldnt deliver. He apparently delivered 2 breach babies killing one and slicing the other from butt to skull. I just want to know if it is even possible. i even told my dr. that my family has a history of hormone problems. NOTHING has been done from the dr.

Im pretty regular and i dont temp. I started off using OPK's but after the first few years I got to know my body pretty well and Im ovulating and my husbands SA was good but his morphology was abnormal so now we have to see another specialist for him, which we dont have the money for. Its like a never ending battle!!

Ok this may sound weird but last night during BDing I got hit with a wave of nausea, almost like motion sickness. Anyone else had this happen?

Holy cow that doctor sounds awful! What a nightmare for those poor delivering mothers!

You could try natural ways to improve your hubby's swimmers. Some ways are zinc, folic acid, a good multi, etc...
I'm all for trying things naturally especially when we don't have the money for anything more at the moment!
The whole money thing is incredibly frustrating isn't it? Can't seem to win with it.:nope:

:hugs: for Heather and ItsMytyme.
Heather I know your 3 months seem like forever but give it some time... it will happen...even when everything is perfect it seems like the moons have to align just right for the :spermy: to catch the egg.
ItsMyTyme I dont even know what to say about your doctor.. that sounds terrible. :nope: so sorry

I have my scan tomorrow to check my follicles and I'm pretty nervous/scared.

Thanks Blucky and Heather! Things have been a roller coaster for us and it seems if it isnt one thing its another. I am just honestly ready to get all the Army stuff on the road so we can go see a real dr. I don't think my old one will be around much longer a lot of people are finding ways around not using him so thats a plus. I just wish things would go my way just once. ya know im not asking to get pregnant 4 times or to have quadruplets I just want to get pregnant once and have just one child and to feel the miracle of birth once! After that the good lord can make my stuff fall out but I just want one lol!!

AF got me today day 27 this month! At least I didn't have to wait till day 33 this time. ugh :(

Hey ladies! Great idea for a thread. I have never ever ever had a bfp either so it is nice to see I'm not alone :D I have been ttc 20 months now and have just started preseed with soft cups (going on the 3rd cycle with that). Hoping it works! I'm still waiting on an appointment with an OB to see why we haven't been successful, so until then we are trying everything.

Wishing all you ladies the best of luck for your cycles and getting that coveted BFP!!
