Boys when we first got them at 1.5lbs each. They are now 2yo and Winston is 11lbs, Murphy, 9lbs. Both indoor cats but they go out out in the garden with harnesses attached to one of those dog pegs/chains in the ground.

Black and White = Winston. Grey and White = Murphy (Not litter mates)

do they cry to go out in the garden when they are indoors? I dontlet mine out at all, they dont know any different.

Id love a bengal or siamese but hubby refuses to pay.......

my cat is like my baby although he isnt so friendly since we have had Annabelle, we havent done anything differently and try to give his as much attention but he wont come near us unless she is in bed, he keeps getting into fights and he cost me 50 pound at the vet on monday as he has 2 bit abcess on his bum where he has been bitten.

i have to go back tonight so no doubt another 50 quid but i love him

what litter do u use? its so expesive with indoor cats- im on catsan at the moment but its £5 for a small bag wondering if anyone had another one which is cheaper but as good

I use the catsan packs - they roll out to cover the tray, with an absorbent pad on the bottom. Once its done, you can just life out the whole pack. Saves having to scrub the inside of the tray as it never has any contact with any yucky stuff! Not cheap though, but I havent found anything better! xxx

I am a total cat lover, my friends call me the mad cat lady because whenever I see a cat I always try and stroke it!

I have one cat, Spoogie she is an 8 ½ year old black british shorthair. I got her from the Cat Protection when she was a kitten she had been found in a nest by the roadside and was the only kitten which had survived. She can be very hard work as she has a tendency to be bad tempered but I love her to bits she was my first cat so I’ll always have a soft spot for her – even if she does bite me sometimes!. This is Spoogie…….

Until recently I did have a second cat, Smudge. She was the most lovely cat, very affectionate, never bad tempered and always up for snuggle and a stroke. Unfortunately she collapsed at home unexpectedly and by time I’d got her to the vet she had passed away. That was 4 months ago and I miss her so much I was going to get another kitten but Spoogie never liked the fact I’d got another cat even though it was to try and keep her company while I was at work Smudge was also a rescue kitten, she had been badly beaten up and left for dead and the Cat Protection nursed her back to health. I just don;t know how anyone can do that to animal

And yes I am a slave to Spoogie for sure. I have to leave a beaker of water for her to drink from as she will not drink from her water bowl no matter what, she jumps out of the window then goes straight to the front door to be let in and like a wally I do it. I do draw the line at her pinching my chair though!

Winston is like a dog when it comes to going outside. The second I walk in the door, hes at the patio doors meowing and pacing. When I get his harness out he will come to me and put his head and leg thru it haha.

I am currently sat using my laptop on the sofa and I have a Spoogie shaped stole wrapped round my neck as she is half sat on the arm of the chair but also appears to have her head on my right shoulder and her back legs on my left.

Aaaaah well at least she is keeping my neck warm
