Staralfur - Amazon has the compendiums (by far the least confusing in terms of issue/volume/book/etc and probably the least expensive) for about ~$40:

I feel like a bit of a traitor saying this but im just not enjoying the prison as much as the previous episodes.

phew ^^^^ thought i was alone - its still great and i and i will continue to watch it but i feel the same about this prison stuff - however i am now looking forward to the 3rd episode !!!

ahhhh yeah i never thought about RICK blaming lori for killing shane - that makes more sense - i think Rick is becoming a bit evil though - letting that prisoner get killed by the zombies.

Eternal - the first one you posted, the 1st Compendium, is the least confusing way to read them as it has the most comics bound up together. The 2nd Compendium just came out, so you've only got two to keep track of, rather than all the different ones.
I would guess that it is the cheapest way to read them, too.

The compendiums are sets of comics. I am not a comic reader, but I really enjoyed these. If by enjoyed, I mean I was fascinated and horrified?
