Thinking twins??

Me and my doctors believe sadly this pregnancy started out as twins....

I got pregnant straight after a blighted ovum which was diagnosed at 12 weeks...

I got a pregnant 1-2 on a Clearblue digital at 7DPO, my HCG was 57 on the 13th of June, come the 18th of June it doubled 8 times as much and was 486!

But on the 13th I started bleeding and it went bright red, on the 14th I passed a large sized clot, which to me and a few people looked like a sac etc. My bleeding continued for 5 days...

The 20th my HCG was 624, and the 22nd it was 1054...

I had a scan on the 25th and I'm still pregnant with one, but my uterus is full with blood.


Also at the beginning my symptoms were overpowering! And when I bled there have lessened quite a lot.

I had very similar to your story... miscarriage, but was still pregnant a week later and i certainly hadnt let my hubby near me in that time!! Son was born 2 months early and i continued to deliver 2 placentas!! - They could never say if my son was a twin but in my opinion he obviously was x

I'm scheduled for a scan tomorrow... we'll see why this pregnancy has been so different for me. Recap: I have not had near as bad nausea since I started taking those specific iron pills, which is amazing! MY previous pregnancies had been HORRENDOUS, ketones in urine everytime, no eating, losing 10 pounds, can't get up and walk aroundp- I thought of a great analogy- It's like having food poisining while seriously motion sick. HOwever, this time it started earlier, and has been relatively "normal" which I had not experienced before, and this is my 6th pregnancy! So considering this part has been so different- I'm VERY grateful! I'm just interested to see if there's something different INSIDE.
My uterus is measuring a little larger, butI'm aware that CAN be normal as well, especially considering my uterus knows exactly what to do.

I know the odds are in favor of one baby and I also hope the pregnancy is viable as well, regardless! I'm 10 weeks 5 days today. I'll keep ya'll posted.

hi ladies can i join? i am soo relieved to find other ladies who think they might have twins . this is my second pregnancy and its completely different! not only can i not shake the feeling i am having twins, i keep having dreams its twins( i never have baby dreams ever!!) also my MS started really early at like 5 weeks and was so bad for like 6weeks ( has slowed down now) i have put like 6lb which is odd as i dont keep much down, im also looking really pregnant at 12+2 considering with my first i didnt show until like 18 weeks. i have my first scan on monday so i will find out then but i defo think its twins...i felt fluttering on one side of my belly and moments later i felt it on the otherside on mt belly and i have such a pressure on m pelvic area! i have a bump pic on so please have a look and let me know what you think!! and stay updated thanks xx

ps anyone due in early feb and want a buddy? as i dont have one yet x

I'm only 5+4 weeks with my second. The morning sickness is already soo bad yet I'm always hungry. My body tells me your hungry eat but then also everything I look at makes me feel more sick my boobs are crazy sore. Don't remember them being like this before. The pain is horrible even when just gently walking and it's just getting worse also I'm already showing. Which I thought was in my head at first but other people have commented that I have put on quite a lot of weight lately which is weird as I am struggling to eat and when I do it's usually fruit or veg especially bananas been craving them loads lol. Also already having round ligament pain. And insanely tired!!! Fall asleep every time I sit down which is very unlike me. Usually in bed by 9pm if I can make it that long and struggling to get up at 8am the next day and usually a few ten minute naps in the day. I was never this tired with my son. I did have awful morning sickness but not this early. Plus I was on clomid. Should be having a scan next week to find out though xx

So... despite anything I was thinking... there's ONE baby inside, happily kicking around with a nice solid heartbeat! Yes, I'd lie if I said I'm not dissappointed...but at the same time I'd be lieing if I said I wasn't a little relieved too...like a burden lifted -albeit, it would have been a welcome burden to have twins. However, I'm still high is spirits because it was SO cool to watch my little one kicking around in there and NOW I get to wonder whether it's a boy or a girl! And my heart just melts.....

I am glad there are other women out there who think they are having twins... I have it stuck in my head that I am having twins... I am 9+5 but this pregnancy has been so different from my first (1 boy). For starters I have put on 5 inches over 3 weeks... I can no longer fully close my corset which i am wearing for my hen night. with my 1st I didnt show untill i was about 18/19weeks gone.

My MS started from 5 weeks, Iv never actually been sick yet but I constantly feel sick from the minute i get up till i fall asleep... anything with a strong smell makes me gag. With my 1st i never got ms till about 12 weeks and i was no where near this bad.

I have trouble sleeping, it takes me forever to wind down and then if i wake up through the night it takes me an absolute age to get back to sleep even though I am constantly shattered from the minute I get up!

my boobs have already outgrown my bra :s I never had to buy a new bra with my 1st! And have already started getting dry nipples and milk ducts showing.. never got that at all with my 1st.

I have also started feeling "fluttering", and have been putting it down to gas. but its happeneing more frequently at night time when I am laid trying to get to sleep.

what do you girls think... its 4 weeks until i get a scan!
