This is torture

Af is officially 1 day late now.
My temps yesterday and the day before as you can see started to dip so this confirmed to me I was expecting AF any time from then.
This morning I did my temp as normal and now it's spiked.
I am totally baffled, my body is playing tricks on me and driving me mad. I can't bare to test because I can't face a bfn

Hang in there Babydust, I have come to terms that af just comes when it comes, I am never on an exact day when I know she will be there.

There is nothing you can do to control it, I know it is easy for me to say, while you are the one waiting. Just take each day as it comes!

It's just a difficult waiting game isn't it. I can't help but think it's just wasting time into my next cycle of ttc.

It's just one big waiting game isn't it... so difficult especially now my body has started playing tricks on me.

It is a huge roller coaster with lots of ups and downs and lots and lots of waiting! We just have to be positive and focus on ourselves and getting our bodies ready for baby. At least that is what I have been trying to do. Don't know how well of a job I have been doing.

Babydust28 - I can feel your frustration and sadness through the monitor 6,000 miles away! I am really pulling for you that af will NOT come and you get a BFP!

meg_bellamy - I am sorry, hugs and staying positive is the only way to move forward!

AFM - nothing to report. I have zero symptoms. I am 8dpo so doubt I will get any sign on a HPK so just sitting tight. Ugh!! I am the least patient person in the world!

What does a stark negative look like exactly? Does that mean you think it is going to turn positive eventually?

I am so not patient, I took a cheapy HPK that measures 20miu and I see the slightest of slightest lines, like if you look really fast you can miss it. No sense posting cause I don't think the camera will be able to catch it. I am wondering if this is a stark negative too?

I feel you Babydust! I'm on day 15 late with no BFP in sight. I have given up on the hope of this being a late BFP and now just (not so patiently) waiting for AF to show up on or around 11/21, unless by some miracle I get pg this cycle. The waiting game is psychological torture!

Meg - I am so sorry AF showed up I'm really hoping next month is your month!!!

TTC - You have a great attitude about this, there really is nothing we can do. Just have to get on the rollercoaster and hold on tight!

Ttcfirstovr30 - it's possible I have this totally wrong (?!) but I've always understood a stark negative to be a total big fat nope! Like its stark white, no trace of a line. So that's what I meant by it, pretty much the opposite of what you're describing.
Yours sounds more hopeful!!! If I were you I'd test again tomorrow

Thanks, hope sooo! I'm going to test with an IC tomorrow because I only have one frer left and I'll save that for 9dpo (10 if I can bear it!)

Babydust FX for you, you really deserve a BFP, you've been waiting long enough!
I've been doing some reading and it may take a while for me to get pregnant again as LO is still feeding quite frequently day and night, even though I have AF back apparently the hormones can affect implantation, ovulation etc. May get some agnus castus and B vitamins as apparently they can help lengthen the LP? Anyway I'm going to monitor ovulation this month and see what happens

Here is mine. I may have line eye, but think I see the faintest of faint lines. I have tested every day since 5dpo. The bottom one is this morning at 9dpo with FMU.. I am hopeful, my resting heart rate has been steadily increasing so I am hoping I am pumping more blood to a sticky bean!

Are you using ics?
If af doesn't come soon and my temps go back up I'll test using a frer or cbd.
So annoying all this waiting isn't it, no sign of AF and no sign of bfp it's all wasting precious time that's all I keep thinking.

Well I wouldn't believe everything you read... if you have af that's a step in the right direction that your body is back in the loop of baby making so I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Thank you for your high hopes, I really am so desperate and I know it's so wrong to be so desperate because it won't help... my specialise tells me all the times Infact it'll do the opposite.
