Just wondering if anyone has had to take time off work in first tri due to pregnancy symptoms?
I had to phone in sick this morning because I felt so tired, so run down and so nauseous. I then went back and slept for a total of 12 hours and I'm still hanging on the couch now.
I don't remember being this way with my DS and, although nauseous I've not been sick so feel guilty. I know I need to rest and baby comes before work but, as a teacher, we seem to be wrecked with guilt at being off and expected to work through it all and so on because our absence inconveniences others.
I'm going to have to go in tomorrow, as I'll need anrdturn to work interview if I take another day off, but I still don't feel right. Am I wrong to have taken a day off when I'm not actually suffering ms? Should I man up a bit?
